"You want us to do what?!" Stone asked.
"Help me get Vinnie and Ditch together" Lorelai told them, eagerly.
Lizzy sighed and placed a hand on her shoulder.
"Lorelai, you're like a sister. But isn't this a little....much?" She asked her.
"Yes, I know that I might be overstepping a bit but...just look at them" she told them before they looked at Ditch and Vinnie talking up a storm. "They look so happy together."
"Love, I understand that you want to help, but this is Ditch we're talking about. Vinnie's arch-nemisis, the guy that tried to kill us on multiple occasions, and the first soul you own" he pointed out.
"Wait...what?" Lizzy asked causing them to freeze up.
"Moving on!" Lorelai quickly said to get back to the main subject.
"Look, though he's not the greatest person ever, he deserves to be happy with the one he loves. And I can tell Vinnie does too. So, please, help me with this."
The bad-but-sad-boi and the gang leader looked at each other. She did bring up a valid point. Also, it might help them get through the banquet. Stone left out a breath as he gently took her hands.
"Okay. I'm in."
"Me too. It might help me avoid my brother most of the time there" Lizzy added as she smiled.
Lorelai squealed in happiness as she hugged them. She thanked them repeatedly before she let them go, a huge smile on her face and her eyes sparkling. Then they left for the banquet.
