The next morning, everyone sat in the main room as they just enjoyed each other's company.
Lorelai laughed a little bit at a joke Ditch made before the main phone started ringing.
"Oh! Hold that thought! I'll be right back" she said before walking off.
"I could go all night, baby!" Ditch snickered.
"We all know you can!" She called back to him before she grabbed and answered the phone.
"Hello?"
As she listened, she grew more and more excited.
"Yeah. Of course I can. I'll head over there right away!" She said before she hung up the phone and gasped in excitement.
"Yes...YES!"
Then, Stone walked by.
"Stone! Holy shit!" She called out to him in a gibberish manner, scaring the hell out of him.
"AH! what?"
She waved him over as she excitedly mumbled "get over here!"
Stone sighed with a smirk on his face before he walked over to her as she jumped up and down excitedly. It was clear that she was in her very happy mode.
"What's going on?" He asked.
Lorelai took a deep breath to try to calm herself before she started to explain.
"I just got a call from the major's office. The woman said that the major wants to sit down and meet with me!" She squealed afterwards.
Instead of sharing her excitement, Stone, was confused.
"But....Why would he want to meet with you? He doesn't usually associate himself with Scraps like us..." he started as his hopeful, optimist girlfriend started singing.
