[Jade's PoV]
Days passed. Every member of the Strategic Investment Department's Ten Stonehearts were called upon by Diamond. It appeared that an urgent matter of great importance had arisen which forced me to leave her side.
I sat attentively as our leader began to speak.
"My ten stonehearts," Diamond began, "I have gathered you here today because a pressing matter has come to my attention."
Oh?
"There's been an unusual occurrence spotted at an abandoned field. Intel suggests it could be the work of the cancer of all worlds. The consequences of such an event could be catastrophic, but if we managed to get rid of it, we could use that field to further enhance the IPC's branch."
"I require someone of Y/n's caliber to handle this matter. Her unique set of skills and her, being an emanator of Nihility makes her the ideal candidate for this mission."
"...."
Diamond's gaze then slowly shifted towards me as well as all the eyes of the other Ten Stonehearts. My calm demeanor remained unchanged as my expression betrayed no thoughts or emotions.
"When will this begin..?" I asked him.
"We'll begin this mission as soon as possible. I know that there's something in that place other than a mere Stellaron."
"But let me be clear. There is no compelling obligation for her to accept the assignment. The choice remains hers and yours as her employer, but if she declines, we will have to find another means to address the potential Stellaron crisis."
I knew that Diamond and the other Stonehearts were already expecting me to protest or even refuse this myself but I merely chuckle in response.
"I see... I'll talk to her now. If you'll excuse me..." I then stood up and left, not caring if the meeting was not finish.
To any outside observer, I appeared to be calm as usual. But beneath this exterior hides another feeling. My footsteps were heavy as my mood and my thoughts were entirely focused on my next destination— my room where she was currently resting.

Jade entered the room and immediately approached me as I slowly sat up on the bed. Her gaze carefully scrutinized my current condition and assess my well-being.
"How are you feeling, my little bunny?" she inquired.
"Erm... My fever is gone and I can no longer feel the fatigue in my body so I can continue on with my training if that's what you want." I replied.
Jade gave me a faint smile before she shook her head.
"No, training can wait for now. Actually... I came here because there's something important we need to discuss. It's about a mission Diamond has requested. Could I sit beside you for a moment?"
I nodded in affirmation as she took a seat beside me. With a measured expression, she turned towards me with a... forced smile?
"Diamond was asking for your help with a mission. There's a situation at an abandoned field. Intel suggests it might be caused by a Stellaron. And because of your abilities, he believes that you're the perfect asset to deal with it."
...I see.
As I stayed silent to digest the information she gave me, I couldn't help but notice the subtle change in Jade's demeanor. Her usual composed expression had hardened slightly, and her body language shifted— a rare sign of vulnerability in her typically stoic facade.
