Chapter 10: Agenda

[Y/n's PoV]

Jade took my hand and led me into the bathroom. She turned the water on, adjusting the temperature to a comfortable warm setting. Steam soon began to fill the room, fogging the mirror.

"Take off your clothes." She said that almost felt like a command.

She began undressing her own clothes, stripping down to her undergarments. Then she hung her wet clothes on a nearby hanger, before she turned her attention back to me.

She first noticed how I just stood there, frozen in place, my fingers trembling slightly as I clutched onto my clothes.

Noticing my hesitation, she walked up to me, her fingers gently tugging at the hem of my drenched shirt.

"Lift your arms up." she ordered softly over the sound of the running water.

"...."

I did what I was told and once my clothes were off, Jade took a moment to take in the sight of my naked torso. Her snake-like eyes roam over my skin, taking in every scar, every imperfection, every mark that told a story of my past.

"Beautiful." she whispered under her breath.

"What are you even praising my body for?" I asked her quietly.

Jade just looked up at me, her eyes meeting mine. Her gaze somehow softened as she heard the vulnerability in my voice.

"Because you are beautiful. These mark and blemish is a testament to your strength and resilience. You, my darling bunny, are captivating in your entirety, flaws and all."

She slowly lifted her hand to cup my cheek, and when she saw that I was not objecting, her thumb gently caressed my skin.

"To me, you're perfect just the way you are."

Then she reached out and traced her fingers gently over a scar on my stomach.

"These are proof. Proof that you survived."

"They show that you are strong, brave, and that, my little rabbit, is something to be proud of."

"...."

I only averted my eyes before backing away and tried turning on the shower but it seemed to be stuck?

I tried twisting it again but it didn't seem to be working. Jade only furrowed her brow in confusion before stepping closer to the shower to take a better look.

"Huh..."

"It looks like the shower is broken... I'll take note of it and inform the workers. In the meantime..."

Jade then trailed her hands to my arms before reaching my hand that was still in the handle of the shower before whispering in my ear.

"Why don't you join me in the bathtub?~"

"...."

Her breath was warm against my skin as she then gently pulled my hand away from the broken shower handle, and instead guided me towards the tub.

It was already filled with warm water. The scent of lavender filled the air, coming from the bath bubbles that floated on top of the water.

"Come on.." she urged.

She stepped in first, settling herself into the warm water, her body submerging beneath the bubbles. She then leaned back against the edge of the tub as the water reached up to her chest.
