The Animagus and The Muggle (Jelsa)

Chapter 22

Jacks P.O.V

I was currently leaning against a wall with my hood up and a toothpick in my mouth as I waited outside a library. Suddenly I was grabbed by the arm and I was being dragged down different back alleys. I looked back and saw two police officers. "Shit! Keep running!" I heard some laughing and the grip on my arm disappeared moving to my hand. I sped up my pace and ran infront pulling hard enough that she jumped up on my back. I ran as fast as I could, but the path got blocked by two more officers, so I quickly turned down another alley way only to find it to be a dead end. I stopped and turned around, but there was no escape. She hopped off my back and stood infront of me.

"Get behind me, weve been over this." She laughed and shook her head. "Dont even, Im fine. Just get ready to run, okay?" I grabbed her hand. "I dont want to do this again." She sighed and glanced at me. "Itll be okay, you know that. So let me do this." I sighed and nodded, giving in almost immediately. 'I cant argue with her..' I stepped back and quickly picked my exit. I whispered under my breath. "left..." She nodded slightly and turned towards the right. She leaned down a bit, then sprinted forward heading straight towards the dumpsters lining the right side of the alley. She jumped up and ran along the top of it, then jumped off the other side taking off down the alleyway. Half the officers went after her, leaving me to deal with two of them. "Come on boy, lets not make this harder then it needs to be."

I narrowed my eyes and shook my head. "In your dreams!" I charged forward, straight towards them, and right before I reached them, I jumped up and used one of them as leverage as I jumped over them. I took off the opposite way Elsa went, and I just kept running. I soon found a ladder that I climbed up, and once the officers climbed up, I jumped back down and ran back the way we came. After a block or two, I suddenly ran straight into somebody tackling them to the ground. I lifted myself up on my hands as my lower body stayed pinning this person down. I was about to ask who they were, but they managed to flip us over so the were on top. I stared up into beautiful cerulean blue eyes. Her eyes went wide when she realized what happened. "Jack.. Are you okay? Im sorry i didnt realize it was you." I smiled and gently cupped her cheek in my palm. "Im fine Elsa, dont worry. im just glad it was you i ran into." She smiled and turned away hiding her face. "Lets get going, before they catch up."

I smiled and nodded. She got up first, then helped me up. We were going to keep moving when we heard voices, from both directions. I glanced each way, there was no way out, atleast not without magic. I grabbed her hand. "Dont, we cant risk that here." She nodded and started looking around, before she froze and smiled at me. "I have an idea." I gave her a funny look. "I have a feeling Im not going to like this." She giggled and gently ran her hand over my hair, then her own. I watch in awe as she changed the colour of her hair with one touch. I smiled at her, and was about to say something when suddenly I heard someone shout. "Hey! Whos over there?!" I quickly grabbed her shoulders and pushed her backwards until her back was against the wall. I looked into her eyes and smiled. "Shhh. I have an idea." She just nodded quietly as we heard the steps get louder. I wrapped my arms around her and buried my face into her neck as her arms wrapped around my shoulders.

I felt my cheeks heat up as we stood there. The footsteps got louder, and then suddenly stopped. A light was shon over at us, and quickly moved away. "Oh.. uhhh. Sorry, enjoy your night." They started leaving, and we just stayed there until we couldnt hear them anymore. I pulled away from her and looked around, when I saw the coast was clear I turned and smiled at her. "Brilliant! We tricked them." She nodded, but didnt say a word. She was just standing there staring at me, I watched as her cheeks got redder by the second. "Snowflake?" She suddenly grabbed my hand and pulled me back into her. She wrapped her arms over my shoulders and squeezed as I wrapped my arms around her waist. "Im glad it worked Jack, it always does." I nodded quietly, and slowly leaned back a bit so I could see her eyes. She gave me a funny look, then ran her hand over my hair. She smiled. "Thats better. The white suites you way better." I smiled. "Now change yours back. I prefer your blonde hair." She smiled and nodded, running her hand over her hair. "Way better."
