While Seonghwa and Yeosang chatted about something with San, my stomach rumbled. Dinner was supposed to be served soon but I was starving. I turned to Yunho and Mingi who sat to the left of me.

"Can we go into the food hall? I need a snack," I said as yet another rumble sounded through my core. "Did you skip breakfast again, Hongjoong?" Seonghwa chimed in mid-sentence and I waved him off. "No," I lied, "so please don't try to mother me." Hwa shook his head before turning his attention back to San and Yeosang and I noticed that Wooyoung was staring off into the distance.

"Can we go before Seonghwa tries to prepare a full course meal and shove it down my throat?" I whispered to Yunho and Mingi causing the two to laugh before the three of us stood and made our way to the food hall.

The silence in the room stretched endlessly as we entered and it reminded me that I still had to wait a little longer to calm my hurting stomach. I scanned the room for anything to munch on as Yunho, Mingi, and Jongho talked behind me. My eyes landed on the only pair of brown orbs in the room. She was breathtaking, her brown and red hair falling over her face as she flipped a page of her book.

I watched as she glanced down at her book before her eyes met mine again. The girl tucked a strand of hair behind her ear as my eyes studied her face. I caught the slight blush on her cheeks and smirked before she abruptly shoved her book in her backpack and tore out of the food hall.

I watched her as she disappeared through the door, the desire to follow her overpowering the hunger I was previously absorbed in. I walked out and searched for her, but she was gone. With a sigh, I sat back at the table with the others and drowned out their voices as my mind wandered.

Yunho noticed my distant gaze and quietly asked, "Everything alright, Hongjoong?" I nodded, trying to shake off the thoughts of the girl with the striking eyes. "She was just... intriguing," I admitted, hoping that my friends would understand my sudden fascination.

As we continued to chat, I couldn't help but steal glances around the room, hoping to catch a glimpse of her once more. The way she moved, the way her eyes shone when she laughed, and the way she seemed so lost in her own world – it was all too captivating. The more I thought about her, the more I wanted to know her, and I knew I had to find her again.
