"So does that mean we succeeded?" Yunho asked as the room grew silent. There was a palpable tension in the air, as if everyone was holding their breath, waiting for someone to break the silence.

"I'd say we succeeded in something, alright. Succeeded in pissing them off," Laney spoke, her voice filled with disappointment. "As long as they aren't fighting with each other anymore, I guess we did our jobs."

The group moved to sit at the table, and Seonghwa brought out the dish we had prepared to share with Ollie and Wooyoung. As he handed everyone their food, the silence returned, this time even more profound. No one knew how to broach the subject that had just transpired between Ollie and Wooyoung.

"What do you guys think happened between them?" I asked, my curiosity overpowering my better judgment. San shrugged, "Not sure, but whatever it was, they seemed to be doing better. Though, I'd avoid them for a while if I were you."

Laney pointed her fork at San. "You were in on this, too, or did you forget?"

"No, I'm aware. But I'm Wooyoung's best friend. He'll forgive me."

"Just like Ollie will forgive Laney," Mingi added with a reassuring smile. She returned it, but her smile didn't quite reach her eyes.

The silence descended upon the space once more before Seonghwa spoke up. "Whatever happened, we should just be happy that they're getting along now."

Everyone nodded in response, but I knew this was going to weigh on Laney until it was resolved. When one problem finds a solution, another one appears. I rested my hand on Laney's and offered my comfort.

Once dinner was finally over, everyone went back to their homes, and Laney and I spent the rest of the night cuddling on the couch. Wooyoung never came home and if he did, I didn't see him. Hopefully, they'll tell us what happened one day, but for now, I was just happy that Wooyoung was happy.
