I felt countless eyes boring into me as I walked to my first class, their stares pricking my skin like needles. Hyuk had told me to text him or one of the guys if the attention became unbearable, and they'd swiftly deliver a change of clothes. I yearned to take him up on the offer already, but took a steadying breath and persevered, masking my unease behind an indifferent facade. Once safely cocooned within the classroom's walls, the smothering weight of strangers' eyes lifted, and my nerves settled. Thankfully I only had two classes today; any more and I doubt I could've endured Laney's insistence on showcasing the project outfit.

When the first lecture ended, I made my way to the campus cafe, our usual meeting spot, craving the bittersweet embrace of coffee. Laney was supposed to join me shortly. I ordered an americano and claimed a table outside, the morning sun's rays warming my skin. I texted Hyuk, asking him to rescue me from the confines of this outfit after the presentation. His delayed response likely meant he was already scouring for replacement clothes. "Chris will bring you something," he replied. I sent a quick "okay" and slipped my phone away just as Laney arrived.

She sat beside me, eyeing my outfit appreciatively. "Why are you gawking at me like that?" I demanded, narrowing my eyes.

"You just look so stunning, I can't help it," she laughed.

"Ha ha, very funny," I retorted, rolling my eyes.

"I'm being dead serious," she insisted, her tone brooking no argument.

I opened my mouth to respond when a familiar voice purred from behind me, eliciting an irritated sigh. "I didn't know we had a model on campus." I could envision the cheeky grin spreading across his face.

"Don't mess with me today, Wooyoung," I grumbled, massaging my temples.

"Wow, you must adore the sound of my voice if you recognized me without even glancing back," he chuckled, the rich timbre of it dancing along my skin.

"No, your voice is just grating," I lied through my teeth. His honeyed voice was anything but unpleasant.

"Ouch Ollie, so mean," he fake-whined before sauntering over to stand across from me, lips quirked in a dazzling smile.

The way my name rolled off his tongue, sweet as sugar, threatened my composure. I forced myself to meet his twinkling eyes instead of ogling his mouth. As I did, his friends approached, crowding around him. Just as Wooyoung opened his mouth to continue teasing me, my phone blared to life. Channie flashed across the screen.

"Saved by the bell," I declared, grabbing the call as an excuse to step away.

"Hey, are you here?" I asked.

"Yeah, where should we meet up?" Chan responded.

"I'm waiting outside the cafe for my coffee. You can just come over, I'm not far," I explained, catching sight of him wandering through the gates.

I ended the call as he drew nearer, taking in his stunned expression morphing into an approving smile.

"Ko, you look amazing," he gushed.

"Shut up, Chan," I dismissed, a light blush tingeing my cheeks.

"I mean, your brother said you guys killed the outfit but he didn't mention how phenomenal you looked," he went on.

"Thanks, man," I mumbled with an abashed shrug.

"So I grabbed you some clothes but didn't have time to swing by your place, so they're mine. Might be a little big," he admitted, passing me a bag.

I peeked inside at the oversized black hoodie, gray sweats, and converse. "No problem, I don't mind baggy," I assured him with an appreciative smile.

"I'll be at the apartment tomorrow to get them back," he informed me.

"Sounds good, and thanks again for bringing these," I said sincerely.

"Anytime," he responded, pulling me in for a quick hug before heading off.

I returned to the table, sipping my cooling coffee. Wooyoung's smirk had vanished, I noticed but said nothing. Before I got back I had also noticed Laney had said something to Hongjoong, murmuring something that made him smile. I quirked a questioning brow at her but stayed silent.

"What's in the bag?" Laney inquired, nodding towards it.

"The clothes Chris brought so I can change out of this later," I explained casually, gulping down the last of my coffee.

"Mhmm, sure," she snickered, fully aware I had no intentions of staying in this outfit once class ended.

"Welp, lovely chatting, but I should head to class," I announced, tossing my cup and pivoting to leave.

"Wait for me!" Laney called out, "How are you so speedy even in those death traps?" she whined. I just laughed and kept walking.

"So, what were you whispering to Hongjoong?" I asked curiously. Laney squeaked but didn't provide me with an answer as she lowered her head and scurried toward the classroom without me. I'll find out eventually, whether she liked it or not.
