"Miks?! Babe??", I was calling her but her eyes were still shut and she was sweating, "Baby! Baby, wake up!", and finally she woke up. I was nervous, para kaseng binabangungot siya.
She hugged me and she started crying. I hugged her back and patted her back. "Bad dream?!", and hugged her tight and nodded her head, "Care to share?", and she told me what her dream was all about. Na dinalhan daw niya ako ng cake and all that. Umabot pa sa iwanan.
It was kinda ironic because, what she dreamt of actually was the opposite of what I wabted to do in real life.
If it was real that she brought me cake at the dug out, Id be the proudest boyfriend ever, bad thing it was just a dream.
"Hindi mo naman gagawin yun di ba?", she asked and was teary eyed.
"Ang iwan ulit ikaw?.", and her eyes welled-up with tears again. I held her face and kissed her tears away. "Hell no, Baby. Yes, I was a total jerk before but I am not going to do it again, Miks. Masyado na akong takot na mawala ka ulit. Dont wanna die again.", she hugged me again and I hugged her back, tight. "Come on, get your knees up and I have something for you.", I smiled and pulled her to her feet to fix herself.
"Anong oras kayo dumating?", she asked while we were going down the stairs. "Kamusta naman dun?"
"Mga 5:30 o'clock na ata kami nakalapag and like almost seven when we arrived home.", I sweetly answered while holding her hands to mine. Oh God, how I missed this girl.
Its like almost two days that I wasnt able to see her. Aly and I went to Davao to host an event held by Smart for young athletes. I had fun. The people in Davao were hospitable and they accommodated us perfectly. "Ayun, yung clinic masaya naman. Madaming bata pero mas maraming supporters.", and I laughed.
"Kumain ka ba ng maayos dun?", she asked sweetly and ny heart melted. Even with the simplest gesture or question, kinikilig pa din ako. Bakit? Inlove nga ako. Wont dent it anyway.
I nodded and held his face and gave her a quick peck on tge lips. "Yes, Madam!", and winked at her. I saw her blushed. Kinikilig tong mahal ko. "I have something for you."
I stood up to get it. I brought her the box and gave it to her. "Buksan mo and basahin mo."
I handed her the box and she read it aloud. "To: Mika Reyes", and she tilted the box on the other side so she can read what was written, "From: Ruby, Eillen, Yla Team Mika. Aww. Ang sweet naman nila.", and she smiled.
"Eto pa, Babe oh!", and I pointed the writings on the body of the not-so big box, "Miefer Davao. Open it now. I know you will like it."
She hurriedly opened it and screamed in excitement with what she saw. Three big Davao pomelos. I knew that she'll like it kaya nung nakiusap ang mga supporters niya na iabot yun kay Mika, Mama Mozzy immediately said yes, and they waited for us at the airport's departure area just to hand their pasalubong for Mika. "Alam mo bang nakakatuwa ang nga fans na nagbigay niyan?", she looked at me, threw her legs over mine and wrapped her arms around my neck and asked why, "sila yung sumalubong sa amin sa airport."
"They were like a group of five girls who waited for us at the airport. Hindi kami nag VIP kase we thought no one will really pay attention to us kase hindi naman kami ganun kakilala but I was suprised when I saw them calling my name and waiving their hands kaya nung nag-ask ng picture, pinagbigyan ko kaagad."
She rested on my chest and hugged me on the waist but still ready to her my kwento. "The next morning, when we were already at the event, I saw them again.", and I heard her chuckle, "but that time, they already have their magazines ready at eto pa babe,", she sat up straight and looked at me smiling, "yung picture namim sa airport nung hapon, napaprint na nila and they asked me sign it.", and she laughed.
"Ang kulit nila noh!", she said smiling.
"Oo. Super. Sabi ko nga dun sa isa na kabuhok mo-"
"Maikli din?", she cut me in midsentence.
"Maikli din, parang sayo nga. Sabi ko sakanya "wow, ang bilis na print ah." tas sumingit pa ng sagot babe na "Syempre naman Kief noh!" and asked for another selfie. Tas yung isa dun, mahaba buhok niya, tawa ako ng tawa kasi nung nakita ako, nanginig siya. Di makapagpicture ng maayos. May nagpapapirma pa nga babe ng shirt niya na Mika Reyes shirt and Miefer lanyard", and she fondly listened to my story. "Tas yun nga, inabangan nila kami at nagpicture ulit, walang katapusang selfie. Pero nagpagroupfie din sila, Babe, may banner na Miefer Davao daw sila."
"They really are supportive, arent they?"
"They are. Come on, lets take a picture with their gift for you.", we took pictures and uploaded it on IG. I hoped that by simply mentioning their names on IG will be enough to pay for their efforts to make Mika happy. I owe those girls bigtime.
We had our dinner and watched No Harm, No foul pilot episode. We were laughing over Kuya Beau because he acts very very good and according to Tita Bhaby proud daw siya sa akin. Nux, nakapogi points na naman ako.
We ate the pomelos and yung isa itinira namin for Ara and Kimmy.
"Baby, I saw your video in youtibe earlier. Yung nag-out ang bola. Grabe beh, nirepeat-repeat ko yung part na tinulak ka ni Cyd. Tawang tawa ko sa reaction mo.", and both of us laughed.
"Paano ba naman kase Babe, checkball talaga naman yun pero naout.", and she laughed, "Kaya dinaan sa reaction."
"I missed you, Baby girl!"
"Not as much as I missed you.", why cant I seem not to get enough of her?
"I love you."
She kissed me on the lips, "Not as much as I love you.", I frowned.
"No, mas mahal kita!", I argued.
"No, Baby. I love you more."
"Hindi. Ako ang lalake dapat mas mahal kita at yun ang totoo. I love you more than you love me."
"Does it really matter? Gender doesnt define who loves you more! Mas love kita!"
"I am telling you, Ye. Walang katumbas yung love ko sayo!"
"No. I beg to disagree. Love kita ng bong-", I shut her up by kissing her passionately on the lips. I really didnt care if Tita Bhaby or any of her family members will see us, basta, masyado kong namimis si Mika. "Sabi ko nga, mas mahal mo ko eh!", and I kissed her again.
"Baby?", I heard her say at tinapik niya ako. I opened my eyes and saw her smiling. Ang ganda ng unaga pag siya ang unang nakikita. Wait??? Umaga??? Umaga na?? I heard her laughed with my reaction. My eyes widened and I got up agad-agad.
"Anong oras na?", she kissed me on the lips. Smack lang, di pa ko nagtotooth brush eh. lol
"Good morning din, Baby. 5 o'clock na sir.", and she smiled. Langya, naghatid lang ako ng pomelo pero ang ganda na ng ganti sa akin, "Nakatulog ka habang kinukwento ko yung nangyari sa PNG babe.", and I apologized, masyado akong pagod eh, "Okay lang noh, I understand naman. Tara, bangon na dyan para makakain na at may pasok at training ka pa."
So we ate breakfast together at hinatid niya ako sa kotse ko. "Ingat sa pagdadrive ha?"
I nodded and smiled. I asked her to get inside the car first and she did. I closed the windows and held her face. I kissed her again on the lips. Bakit ba hindi ako nagsasawang halikan siya?
We kissed until her lips kinda bruised already. Grabe, parang ayaw ko pa pero wawa naman lips ng baby ko. "Alis na ako, Babe.", she nodded, "I love you.", and kissed her again, pero smack lang.
"I love you too.", I held her face and made a nose-to-nose gesture. I saw her smile.
"To infinity and beyond."
