Spencer and Toby: together for eternity

Jealous

Spencer's POV:

I grab Dustin and sit him down on the couch, to have a talk with him.

"Who was that mommy... Don't lie to me this time." He says.

I sigh.

"You are so smart..." I say rubbing his head.

"That was... Your dad." I say.

"How come I didn't see him before?" He asks.

"He's not a good guy... Not all dads are." I say.

"Why? Why is he bad?" He asks.

"... He's just not nice." I say.

"What happened?" He asks.

"He's a bully." I say.

Dustin bites his lip and nods.

I sigh.

"Now go finish eating." I say, pointing to his bowl.

He runs off and keeps eating.

I rub my eyes and pick up some empty cups lying on the table.

A few minutes later dustin puts his dishes in the sink and as I'm doing the dishes I hear the another knock on the door.

I roll my eyes.

I open the door.

"LISTEN TOBY I-" "it's hanna." Hanna says.

"Sorry I thought you were-" "Toby is about to jump off a building that's like a block away... It's high enough to kill him." She says.

My heart drops.

"I- I wanna stop him but Dustin..." "I'll take care of Dustin." She says.

"Tell him mommy loves him and she will be right back." I say slipping my shoes on and running outside.

I sprint to the building and look up to see Toby.

I wave to him and beg him to come down.

I see a car pull up and a girl comes out... (Harley)

She's got black hair and some ripped clothes...

Purposely ripped.

She looks at me and her eyebrows furrow.

She looks like she's about to speak when Toby calls me.

"Spencer!" He yells.

"TOBY please come down!" I beg.

"Why?! My life is shit!" He cries.

I look down and sigh.

"If you go to therapy you can see Dustin!" I yell.

"I already am!" He cries.

".... You can see him, I promise!" I yell.

"But I'll be supervising!" I yell.

"... Okay." He cries.

Suddenly cops pull up and they help Toby down.

They cover him in a blanket and he makes eyes at that girl.

I walk up to him.

".... I'm sorry." He cries.

"I'm a fucking bastard." He continues.

I don't disagree but pat his back.

"You- you seem better now." I say.

"Who's that girl?" I ask.

"That's... Harley. My friend." He says.

I have a feeling it's his girlfriend and I feel a slight twinge of jealousy but shake it off.

"I... I have to get back now but we can meet at the brew tomorrow at 12:30. That's when Dustin is at daycare." I say.

He sighs and nods.

As I'm walking back I turn around and see Toby give Harley a quick kiss and hug.

I feel jealous... But box up my emotions yet again.
