Spencer's POV:

"Drinking just... Just makes me feel better, okay?!" Toby shouts.

"LIFE ISNT LOOKING TO DAMN PERFECT BECAUSE OF IT!" I cry.

"SPENCER IT MAKES ME FEEL BETTER! My- my wife always has to be pitied and my son is useless!" He yells, and I pray he doesn't mean what he says. That he's still drunk.

For once, I pray that he is drunk.

"Now isn't the time to drink, okay?!" I sob.

Toby pulls me up very harshly.

"Don't tell me I can't drink." He says angrily.

"You. Can't, drink!" I cry, pushing him.

"Bitch..." Toby mumbles, throwing me to the floor.

"I gave you a child!" I yell, getting up.

Toby frowns.

"LEAVE our baby-" I cut Toby off by a punch in the face.

His nose is bleeding.

He throws me back into the floor, this time pinning me down. "Listen! You have no idea how the hell this helps me!" He cries into the crook of my neck.

Everything about this is absolutely wrong. Why am I now hugging him...? I should be throwing him off of me.

But I dont.

I sit there, holding him.

"Spencer..." Toby mumbles. "I want help." He continues. My heart fills with joy.

"I... I don't want to cause you anymore pain." He whimpers.

I pull him away from me, to wipe off his tears.

And the blood.

"Is it broken?" I ask, trying not to laugh.

He shakes his head no, and touched it to prove that.

I sit up and lean my back against the wall.

I touch my tiny stomach... It's not a surprise how fast I dropped some of the baby weight... Not being fed at that house made me lose to much weight.... It wasn't even healthy.

(3 hours later)

After Dustin woke up, I mostly just played with him. I was very sad, so I just played with Dustin and ignored Toby. I may have forgave him, but I was still pissed and sad.

As I'm trying to get him to put his head up, (it most likely won't work but practice is good) Toby sits down on he floor with me.

He rubs my back, sending chills down my spine.

"You okay?" He asks.

I bite my lip and help Dustin up, ignoring Toby.

"Fine..." He mumbles, walking away.
