Spencer and Toby: together for eternity

Spencer's POV:

(1 week after the perfect Christmas)

"Time to wake up" Toby groaned. "Ugh I hate work" I mumbled.

"One day we won't need it" Toby said smiling.

He always try's to loo on the bright side of things.

Toby's POV:

"Just kidding its Saturday!" I exclaimed. "Screw you..." Spencer mumbled before falling asleep.

Before I fell back asleep I held spencer and promised myself I would protect her from A...

When I woke up spencer was still asleep and it was about 12:30.

When I pulled away she pulled me back in. I wrapped my arms around her and and I think she's awake because she keeps kissing my shoulder.

She climbed onto me and kissed me. She has to way like 2 pounds she's so tiny and skinny.

"I love you" she said. "I love you to" I replied playing with her hair. She seemed very... Lovey dovey. I don't have a problem with that but... It's just not the usual her...

I don't like clingy but she's not clingy she's more... Scared. Like she will die and this is her last day.

Spencer's POV:

I was almost at tears. I have... To tell him. But it would make him to sad... This is supposed to be happy. I'm supposed to be going to Paris with my boyfriend and I don't need cancer coming along with me.

I got it back... Maybe that barfing wasn't just barfing... So I went to the doctors and... It's back. Stage 1.

I grabbed Toby's hand and pictured our wedding. That may never happen.

I just hope he doesn't think I'm clingy.

"Oh god!" Toby yelled. I didn't even notice but my nose was bleeding all over him. I felt weak and before passing out I saw Toby rushing me into the car.

When I woke up Toby was sitting beside me a tear rolling down his cheek. He was stroking the dots I found on me.

"T-Toby?" I mumbled. Toby made eye contact with me and I could tell he knew. "Spencer..." Toby said. "You have cancer..." Toby said another few tears rolling down his cheeks.

"But you already knew that" Toby scoffed.

I sat up in bed and pulled Toby close but he pulled back.

"At the time I need you the most" I breathed crossing my arms.

"I'm just trying to understand why you wouldn't tell me!" Toby whisper yelled.

"That isn't something you drop on somebody! Especially after the whole party... Because I was better. And at the time the results weren't there. I found out 2 days ago! 2 days ago Toby!" I yelled.

"But you thought it was bad and you still weren't there. It doesn't seem like you ever are!" I yelled with a few tears.

I collapsed back down on the crappy hospital bed and flipped over so I wasn't facing Toby.

Because life isn't already hard enough.
