Spencer and Toby: together for eternity

Burning scent...

Spencer's POV:

After another few hours of driving, we find a little motel and decide to camp out there.

There isn't anyone else there so the owner gives us room 1.

I feel a wave of heat come at me as i pass a room.

I glance in the window and see a... Hmm.... It's burning but for some reason that's not what's concerning me.

It's concerning me that there's something in there that looks like a rotten body.

Toby sees me and sees what I'm looking at.

He sprints in and I go after him.

"TOBY!" I scream. "Spencer get out!" He chokes attempting to pull out the person.

"I- think they're alive!" He screams.

As we are about to come out I see the door is somehow locked from the outside.

The only way that's possible is... The manager.

I knew he was suspicious.

It was... Hmm....

Someone I knew.

That's not to think about at the moment though... We're going to burn alive.

"You have a choice..." I hear a familiar voice day from behind the fire.

"What?" I choke.

"If Toby comes with me you both remain safe" they demand.

I reach for his wrist but he's already finding his way to them.

"Toby!" I scream.

"I'm sorry baby. But you'll be safe!" He screams to me, as the person pulls him through the window.

I feel tears streaming down my face and I glance at the body that is now disintegrated.

I run to the window and attempt to
Follow Toby but he's gone!

I climb out the window and run into the nearby forest and hear police and fire trucks pull up right behind me as I disappear into the shadows of the forest.

"Put your HANDS UP!" They scream.

(3 hours later)

"I didn't do it." I repeat.

"We believe you kidnapped Toby cavannaugh and killed him in the fire. Spencer, we know your the bad guy... Just admit to it." He demands.

"The remains, they aren't his." I say.

"We are Doing testing... But lets get back to you, spence. Why wouldn't you? He pissed you off so much right?" He asked.

"How did you-" "I'm the one who asks questions!" He demands.
