I've been speaking with my sister's friend, Veronica, who is a family lawyer. She's given me a lot of advise and said she'd happily represent me if need be. I'm getting my girls back. Full stop.

I never wanted this to happen. I didn't want to drag the girls through court and I know it's so stressful. But Nathan is completely abusing the arrangement. He's not even seeing the girls. They come home to me upset because they even get to see them and Ashley is awful to them. Last week, Isla begged me to let her stay home so she didn't have to be picked up from school. Ellie even pretending to be poorly to get out of it.

I've spoken to Claire, she admitted that Nathan hasn't really been around much, most of the time he's with Ashley and when she is at work, the girls stay with Ashley too. She doesn't really like the blond woman. So when her and Nathan leave, Claire has started bringing the girls back to Charlotte, usually from Tuesday through the Thursday.

Even then the girls hate it. They say they never actually see their dad and when he is there, he's to occupied to care about them. Claire is basically doing all the parenting.

Now this new arrangement has been happening, Veronica said that she would get in touch with Nathan's lawyer. He can either choose to have the girls regularly and actually be a parent, without Ashley, or have scheduled visits. I want our children to have their dad around. I don't want them growing up and him not being there, but the thought of going back to Ashley and an absent father upset my girls and I won't put them through that.

...

On a brighter note, I'm back at the nursery today and feel much brighter. Now the other staff members are aware of the situation, things feel a lot lighter.

This morning, a parent brought in her daughter, Phoebe today covered in chicken pox. I had to send the poor girl home. You'd have thought it was obvious to keep her at home as she was contagious. Not only that, but the poor child was covered in oatmeal.

I still can't get my head around how she thought it would be a good idea to smear oatmeal over her child and put clothes on top of that.

After they both leave, Marjorie walks over towards me asking for a chat. Luckily Carly was ok for ratio, meaning she could cover as well as not eavesdrop.
