Amy walks into Art class again. Even if she hates her teacher, she can't not show up again. Her teacher is sitting at her desk, almost spitting out her drink when she sees Amy's tired face, drowned out of all the life it once had. The teacher cleans herself up, then goes back to work. Trying her best to ignore Amy. So Amy sits down and does nothing. She sits there. The teacher eventually realizes she should maybe say something. So she turns and looks at the girls. The only person left in her room, in her class.

"Look, I'm sorry-" Immediately Amy gets up and opens the door.

"Good." She slams the door shut and walks away. She walks all the way to middle school, then goes into Blaze's class where she sits down, not doing anything. Blaze goes over and comforts her. Making sure she's okay. Amy doesn't cry this time, she sits there. Blaze sees all the joy has been kicked out of her.

The next Day Amy walks in, the teacher blocks the door.

"We can't have a reasonable conversation if you walk out-"

"The time for conversation is over, let me out or stop talking"

"...Stop being so difficult, I'm only trying-"

"Yeah hi Blaze? Come down here, please, thanks!" Amy says after pulling her phone out and calling Blaze then shutting it.

             "What did you just do?"

"Let me out or find out"

             "Is that a threat?"

             "Yes. Now let me go"

             "..."

"Did you hear me? Let. Me-"

Knocking can be heard. The teacher opens the door revealing Blaze standing there.

             "Hello?"

"Can you stop bothering my friend? She really doesn't want to hear it."

             "...I'm only having a con-"

"Nope, stop it. She's had enough, of whatever this is." Blaze punctuates the sentence by waving her hand around.

             "Excuse me?"

"What do you want me to say? That's your horrible? That you've treated her like the dirt beneath your feet? What? Honestly, I can't figure it out myself."

             "I wanted to apologize..."

             "...Sure, about what?"

"That I'm sorry that she feels this way."

Amy immediately exits the room with Blaze in tow. Blaze gives the art teacher a death stare before leaving with Amy grabbing her hand and walking out. Amy and Blaze go to the front desk to sort out this issue.

"Oh, hello there! What can I do for you two?" The Secretary says.

"I want to drop my Art class... I'm Amy Rose." Amy says

"Oh I recognize you, finally that class I see? Let's look here... you have a grade in it?"

              "Yes, that's correct"

"Well that's the first I've ever seen in this class, so why are you dropping it?"

              "I can't stand the teacher"

"Well... If you want to, you could file a complaint with the staff."

              "I highly doubt that works"

"Maybe not usually, but they might take special preemptives things for your case, the principle is free right now if you want to meet with him."

              "I would like that."

"Well, let's see here..." The principal takes a sip of their coffee, then immediately spits it out when they see the grade.

"This isn't fake right?" The principle questions

              "Nope" Amy confirms

"Holy cow... you're still dropping out?"

              "Yes"

              "...Mind if I ask why?"

              "I hate the teacher"

The Principal smiles then starts to laugh, hard.

              "What's so funny?" Blaze asks.

"Kid, I'm going to tell you something, you're the best news we've gotten in 10 years. I tell you what."

Tenure is pretty good, except when it keeps those who are bad. That is something learned with the Art department today. But now, everything can go back to normal, maybe even better. Hopefully better and maybe nothing like this will happen again. Doubtful but fine. Even the Union seems to agree with them. Amy barely knows what a union is.

Getting rid of a teacher is pretty hard. But you can do it easily sometimes. When the administration came for her, she quit without a second thought. Packing up her stuff instantly and leaving. Perfect for a new spot for a teacher. At least she knew to keep things clean. It'll take a while to get a teacher. There's a shortage you know? But eventually there will be a new one even if it takes a bit.

Amy has no idea where she'll go. Why didn't she expect pushback? What was all of this? Is she still going to get that credit? So many questions, only one answered. Yes she will get those credits. For that, she is happy. Blaze stays with her the whole time, not like it takes long. But Blaze is there.

They get to study hall late. But they, the teacher and the administration don't care. It's very hard to get all three to agree on something, so this is good. Very good. Study hall is normal. Everything is great. After that, they tell all their friends about what happened.

"Good to hear" Marine says smiling at the announcement.

"She sounds mean." Cream says with mild annoyance towards the art teacher, and crossing her arms.

"I'm still glad I dropped that class." Tails says, making sure her skirt is fine by rubbing it out with all the wrinkles

"I now know how close I was" Knuckles states putting his hand on his face in mild frustration.

"Do you guys think the reason we call foods names other than their colors is because of the government being so obsessed with labeling everything?" Silver inquires, looking at a red apple. Everyone turns to them. He looks back at all of them.

"Just saying." He says with a very smug look on his face everyone looks at them, not amused yet he still finds his own joke funny. Silver is not good at comedy.

Despite Silver's jokes, everything is good. They go home on the buses like everyday. Back home. Everything is done. Nothing else can possibly happen. Nothing can go wrong. Everything can be normal again.

Amy: Hey can you help my grandma move in Saturday?

                Blaze: Sure.

One more thing. How much stuff can one person have?
