She opened the note and saw about 4 lines written on it. A tear rolled down her eyes and the paper soaked it in like a stamp of approval as she read it.

Anushka was feeling overwhelmed after reading the note. It was simple , yet so attractive. Now she just wanted to hug him. But it was not possible as there was another month to go.
There was a bit of regret in her mind regarding the rejection of the movie. But to see him flourish like this, erased all her regrets. She just wished he stayed happy like this.
Asia Cup
India won the Asia Cup and Virat was adjudged as the player of the tournament. He had successfully come out of his bad phase.
"Anu, I'm selected for the t20 WC" he said in excitement.
"What's special in that? Everyone knew you would be selected." She assured him.
"Thanks to those 'everyone'" he mumbled.
"I read that note Virat " she blushed.
"Mm....was it cringe?" he gritted his teeth.
"Noo...It was so sweet. I didn't know you write poems" she said with a smile.
"Well..if I have a work of art in front of me, why wouldn't I be a poet" he praised her.
She blushed at the comment. He smiled back at her subtle expression. He was really missing her. He was a sucker for hier rosy cheeks.

T20 wc
The t20 WC went pretty well for Virat. He scored decently in almost all the matches. But then came the d-day. It was again and india- Pakistan encounter.
The team was down and out after putting on a total on the board, Pakistan bowled beautifully later. India were 4 wickets down for just 31 runs. No one believed India could win it , except for the one man. That is Virat Kohli.
He fought his way through the innings and stood there till the deciding moment. And in the end, he hit multiple boundaries to win the match for India.
He pulled the match out of the jaws of defeat . The entire India was shell-shocked by that innings. No one ever thought India could win that match .
And there was none prouder than his one and only. She was over brimming with happiness. She had tears in her eyes after the match.
All the pain, all those tears, all those dark days paid off finally. She felt happy but also tired. It was one hell of a ride. She never felt such things before.
