He squinted his eyes and looked at the lady , Ved had pointed at. She looked familiar. He went a bit forward to seeing her clearly. His eyes opened wide in disbelief.
It was Nisha.

He again looked closely to confirm whether it is Nisha, and he wasn't wrong. He tried to recollect the things which Ved said, he said that she knew him before hand, that confirmed it for him.
Nisha turned around after the kids went inside. She noticed Virat standing there and looking at her. She locked her eyes for some moments and then walked away.
"Nisha!" Virat called from a bit far away. She froze in her position, she didn't turn around. Virat walked to her and stood infront.
"Nisha? Tum yahaan?" He asked in surprise.
"Hi Virat" she smiled nervously.
"Are you following us for something else now?" He questioned her.
"Nhi Virat. I worked here even before Ved joined. I'm here from last 3 years" she clarified.
"What are you doing here? How did you become a teacher?" He was still suspicious of her presence.
"I'm not a teacher. I'm with the administration department. I just come here to check whether everything is working fine and about the provisions of the students" she elaborated.
"Then why did you talk to Ved" he asked her.
"I did not initiate that. I was standing with the phone here , so he came to me and asked for the scores. Then he was talking about you, so baaton baaton me , I just said that I've seen you before. Don't worry Virat, I'm not here for any games, I'm still regretting of what I did years ago. I was completely thrown out of the industry, no one wanted me. Then I came here, my dad's hometown is nearby this place. That's why I joined here, nothing more than that." She elaborated.
"I have no reason to trust you completely. But please spare Ved if you have any cruel intentions, he's too young and .. don't take away his innocence" Virat requested with a heavy heart. She was shocked to hear that.
"Why would you say that Virat, do I look so cruel to play games with a child? " She asked in remorse .
"You don't even look cruel enough to play games with adults. But you did" he stated in a monotonous voice.
"I can understand your fear, that's what I've done. Your boy is as sweet as you were. There is a charm which is unmatched, which I've only seen in you. I swear to God he's safe here, trust me if you can. And please forgive me if you have the strength " she muttered in a quivering voice and walked past him.
He stood there, lost in thoughts. They are still recovering from what she did. Do I have the strength to forgive her? She was not completely at fault as she had identified her mistake in time and stopped it. He thought.
Moreover she had helped him a lot in taking care of Ved in the initial months. If she really had more games in her mind, she wouldn't have helped him through his bad phase or later revealed the truth.
