"Didn't you give this responsibility to me?" He questioned.

"I did. But-" she was cut in between by him.

"-There's not 'but'. trust me, it'll be fine" he said.

"Bub..I beg you. Please don't do this. He's so small, kitna masoom sa hai. How can you even think about sending him off. " She pleaded to him.

"C'mon Anu, you are reacting as if I'm selling him or something. It's a school, there are other children too who are studying there. And it's just a matter of 1 year. After that we'll join him back in Australia as day- scholar. He should get a little exposed to the outside world " Virat explained.

"Virat , don't you have any feelings? Don't you feel like something breaking inside when you think of him staying away?" she asked anxiously. Virat took a deep breath.

"I know what I'm doing. Babe I told you, he'll be brought back. He will learn to be grateful, he will learn to respect, he will learn about our culture. This is the age were children grasp things quickly. I don't think there'll be any better opportunity. And this is one of the top schools in India. You don't need to worry about anything. We can meet him in 2 weeks or monthly once. Right now, he's away from you, right? Then what's the difference?" Virat tried to make her understand.

"There is a difference Virat" she asserted.

"What?"

"He is with you. That's why I'm okay" she pointed out.

"Why are you okay, because you trust me?" He asked her .

"Then trust me in this as well. Anu, it's a school. I'm not going to put him in jail. I took full responsibility and accountability for this. He will never get such an opportunity in his life. Just for one single year. I'll make sure he meets you once in a while, ok?" He elucidated.

"I'm not ok Virat. And I'll never be. If you want, you can fight with me. But I won't let you force him to the boarding school. Have you ever thought about what he would go through? How helpless he would be?" She tried her best to convince him.

"What if I say he already agreed to this? " Virat put forth calmly.

Anushka was in loss of words. Her eyes widened like saucers. Virat felt bad for her, he expected that reaction. Ved was extremely close to her. It's obvious that she's his mother but he was a lot closer to her than Virat. And she never thought he would agree to this.

"What? You don't trust me? Why would I lie to you, Anu. He's not here right now, He's with AB. I would never force him, I simply asked him and explained how it will be. And he was pretty excited for it. I was also surprised " He explained.
