"Do you want anything else?" He put forward. She didn't respond for a while.

"I need you"

Then she slowly held his hand and guided him to get on to the bed. He studied her actions and kept the towel aside. After that, he climbed on the bed and laid down beside her.

She moved closer to him and looked at his guilty orbs. She closed the distance between them by hugging him tightly. His arms soon encircled her. His one hand stroked her hair and other one stroked her back

He couldn't control his tears. They were running down his cheeks . She parted away and looked at him. He smoothly caressed her face and captured her lips. She closed her eyes to feel his touch.

The veins on his forehead were protruding. He felt as if all the pain, problems, guilt, everything was melting away from his body. There was nothing as medicinal as this moment.

She dug her head onto his chest and hugged him again. She forgot all the pain that existed in her body. The adrenaline was doing it's thing.

"I love you" he whispered.

"I Love you more bub" she said with a broken voice.

"Can I climb on you?" She asked innocently. He smiled at her. That used to be their thing and he couldn't wait to experience it again.

She took his smile as a yes and climbed on top of him to sleep. Her head was nestled close to the crook of his neck. She placed kisses on his neck and below his jaw. He reciprocated with a forehead kiss.

He was at peace that night. He left a long sigh of relief. Her weight on his body was the only heaviness he would gladly carry throughout his life.

Morning

Virat POV

I stretched my arms and turned to the other side. An instant smile formed on my face. My beautiful wife was sleeping next to me after a long time.

There was no better morning than this. She was sleeping on her stomach, her cheeks were squished on to the bed which made her lips form a pout. There was also a subtle frown on her face. A couple of strands of hair were falling over her face, which made her look cuter.

My love-filled eyes were drinking in that beauty. I could wake up to this sight a million times and still wouldn't get enough of it. The urge to just move forward and squeeze her in my arms was growing.

After sometime, the sunrays were fighting through the blinds and troubling her with the brightness. The frown grew on her face and she was squirming on the bed. I moved closer to her and blocked the sunlight.

She could probably feel my proximity. She moved further up and wrapped her arms around me. I cupped her face with one hand and kissed the pout formed on her lips .

She leisurely opened her alluring orbs looking at me. My heart skipped a beat, it really did. How does she still have the same affect on me after so many years. I winked at her with a smile. She responded with an equally charming smile.

Anushka POV

Hope I'm not dreaming, am I really in his arms? Is he really winking at me? I ran my fingers over the dark stubbles on his face. His chest heaved in satisfaction. He slightly turned his face sideways and pecked on my fingers.
