I turned around and saw Lucius standing behind me, his expression stern.
"I'm not doing anything wrong, I just borrowed his suit," I tried to explain.
Lucius stepped closer to me, his gaze unwavering.
"I don't care what the reason is, you shouldn't be around that boy," he stated firmly.
I felt a pang of irritation at his possessive demeanor.
"He's just a friend, Lucius," I retorted, standing my ground.
Lucius clenched his jaw, his eyes narrowing.
"I don't care what he is to you. I don't want you near him," he repeated, his voice commanding.
I crossed my arms and glared back at him.
"Why? I can spend time with whomever I want," I said defiantly.
Lucius took another step towards me, now standing just inches away. I could feel his hot breath on my face.
"You are mine, cara," he said in a low voice, his eyes boring into mine.
"And I don't want you near him or anyone else." He added
I rolled my eyes, his possessiveness getting on my nerves.
"I'm not your property, Lucius," I snapped back.
Lucius smirked, seemingly amused by my feisty attitude.
"Oh, you're mine alright," he said, placing a hand on my waist, drawing me closer.
"And I don't share what's mine." He stated
I wanted to protest but found myself unable to form the words as Lucius pulled me into his arms. He towered over me, his muscular body pressed against mine.
"You belong to me," he whispered in my ear, his lips brushing against my skin.
I shivered at his touch, a mix of anger and desire coursing through me.
"I'm not yours," I said weakly, my voice betraying my body.
Lucius chuckled, his hand sliding up my back.
"Oh, my sweet, sweet cara," he murmured, his lips tracing the curve of my neck.
"You may deny it all you want, but you're mine. Your body responds to my touch, your eyes follow me everywhere. You can't deny the truth." He huskily said
I gasped as his lips found a sensitive spot on my neck, causing a wave of heat to spread through me.
"That's not fair," I protested, trying to cling to my resolve.
Lucius chuckled against my skin, his breath hot and sending shivers down my spine.
"Life's not fair, cara," he replied, his lips moving to the hollow of my throat.
"And you're mine. Accept it or not, it won't change the fact that I own you." He added
I struggled in his arms, but he only held me tighter, his body molding against mine like a glove. I felt powerless against him, my body responding to his touch despite my anger.
"I hate you," I said through clenched teeth.
Lucius lifted his head to look at me, a smug smile playing on his lips.
