Connor sat in his room staring blankly at a puzzle book, yesterday had been extremely draining overall. From his portion increase, to Harry's visit, and Riccardo's incident.
Doctor Mercury was still not giving the boys any information on what happened to Riccardo afterwards, they knew he was still in the house however he hadn't been in any meals that whole day and had missed breakfast this morning as well, nor had any of them actually seen him. Alex was still none the wiser to what had happened so was the most confused of them all, Connor was starting to get very anxious for the brunette, he'd struggled heavily with his full lunch portion as well.
Sighing he scribbled a line across the word he'd just found in his word search trying desperately to distract his brain from the onslaught of worry it was building up.
Riccardo would be fine, if he wasn't fine they'd have taken him to a general hospital. So he obviously wasn't in any immediate danger or risk. He'd been treated already. So there was no point worrying about him when he was okay, at least as okay as any boy could be at Golden Eagle.
Scribbling out another word Connor concentrated on the next one, the way he did word searches was word by word down the list alphabetically, he couldn't fathom people who did it randomly or haphazardly, for him it had to uniform and logical.
He soon located the next word scribbling it out, but as he began to search for the one after it his door swung open unexpectedly, Connor jumped dropping his pencil sending it tumbling to the floor with a light thud as his head whipped to the door, he'd been sat quite imbalanced on his windowsill so the scare had nearly made him fall rather than just the yellow pencil he'd been clutching.
Dismounting from the slim windowsill Connor peeked over at his door, now that his vision wasn't blocked by curtains he could see who'd entered his room so suddenly, it was Alex.
"Hey Connor!" Alex cheerily greeted him plastering a smile onto his face, however Connor could tell he wasn't okay right away. His face was puffy and red with tears, his hair was disheveled. Looking around wildly Alex swore under his breath going over to the corner he'd found himself in last time he so abruptly entered Connor's room and sitting down cross legged.
"A-Alex? Are you okay?" Connor asked though the question was a silly one, the answer was quite obviously no.
"I'm just being followed, it's fucking pissing me off and scaring me to death" Alex told him sighing as he shook his head.
"Tell them to stop following me, please Connor!" Alex then begged a tear beginning to streak its way down his rosey cheeks.
Connor stood there awkwardly unsure what to do as Alex rocked too and fro. "S-should I go g-grab Simon?" Connor asked timidly.
"No" Alex immediately hissed back. "He'll drug me, he'll give me pills again. I can't take those, never again! I won't let it happen again"
"Aren't the pills... a good thing, wouldn't it help? I take pills for my depression and it does help" Connor quietly suggested resting on the edge of his bed and staring down at the trembling boy. Though he wasn't quite sure his meds did work Alex didn't need to know that.
Alex's eyes filled with fury at this and he glared at Connor with hostility. "Fuck you!" He spat making Connor back away slightly his sapphire blue eyes widening in fear. He hadn't expected that.
The room fell into silence for a few minutes the only audible noise being Alex's fast paced breathing.
"Yes I know I shouldn't have done that you don't have to tell me you bastard!" Alex then whispered trying to catch his breath.
"Oh my god shut up! Why do you never shut up!" He then shouted slamming his fist to the floor angrily, Connor watched in fright, who was Alex speaking too? This wasn't directed at him was it?
