"Just take my hand, the alarm won't trip as long as you're careful" Liam assured Connor calmly as he stared out of the living room window, the gap in the window was a tighter squeeze this time due to the extra precautions Simon had taken.
The other three boys were already out, however Connor was having difficulties.
"I'm too big" Connor whispered cursing himself for not being able to do it.
"Connor, you're the smallest here. Don't listen to your anorexia, just crawl through. I'm here" Liam whispered keeping level headed. Taking a deep breath Connor scrambled through the gap feeling self conscious the whole way, what if they laughed at how fat he looked?
He was soon successfully through landing with a thud on the pebbled driveway sending the little stones scattering around him.
"See" Riccardo stated giving Connor a comforting smile.
The boys then 1 by 1 crawled under the wildlife escape gap in the fence, each one of them careful not to touch the wire just in case it was somehow linked to some kind of alarm.
Once out it was like a heavy weight was lifted from Connor's shoulders.
As they walked away from the troubled boys home Alex turned around. "Fuck you Simon!" He yelled a smirk plastered onto his face.
"Dude shut up his window is literally open" Riccardo hissed putting a hand on Alex's wrist and pulling him onwards. Alex laughed shrugging as he followed the rest of the boys.
They made their way down the beaten path chatting between each other, as they walked along Connor couldn't help but admiring them all.
Liams determined stare. His perfect leather fashion sense, the tattoos that littered his body. Liam was so hot. He was definitely the calmest among the group. He was a go with the flow sort of guy Connor had come to learn, but Alex had definitely been right when they first spoke, Liam was a softie at heart. Connor always felt safe when he was near Liam, he knew that boy would protect him to the end of the earth if it came down to it.
Switching his gaze to Riccardo, Connor couldn't help but smile. Riccardo was the first of the boys he'd fallen for and it was easy to see why. His sweet nature was just impossible to hate. His thick Italian accent was to die for, his quiet, caring and compassionate words were always the right ones no matter the situation. His soft brown hair and shiny piercings dotting his face that glinted in the moonlight were perfect. He was too nice for his own good, but that also meant he was genuine. As Connor was staring Riccardo glanced back at him returning Connor's smile. Connor could already feel himself getting lost in the brunettes chocolate brown eyes so hurriedly looked over at Alex who was walking in front of him.
Alex was definitely the comedian of the group, or as he'd called himself on their 'first' meeting the comic relief. Connor always laughed at his jokes, always smiled at his attempts of humour or sarcasm. Plus Alex's surname was Apricot and the embarrassment he felt over and the way he got flustered whenever anyone brought it up was too cute, the blondes hair was also extremely pretty, the blonde color was so perfect and the pink streaks hidden within just added to the sweetness. Despite his attempts at hiding his demons with humour when he opened up Alex proved to be a very sensitive boy, Connor knew he could trust him.
Alex suddenly tapped Connor's shoulder ripping him out of his own head causing him to stop fawning over his boyfriends.
"Tag! You're it!" Alex shouted before darting off, Connor froze instinctively as the other two also began sprinting away from him. He hadn't played tag since he was a little boy, he smiled beginning to jog after the other boys a slice of a more peaceful time from his childhood reigniting, he eventually caught up to Riccardo tagging him. Then Connor hurriedly took off in the opposite direction of the field they were in.
