One - Intro
(Intro)
"This world has always had music. From bittersweet melodies to high-energy chords and every kind between and beyond. My personal favorite is EDM, or electronic dance music. Most times, musicians have an almost magical ability that helps them create music, and the debate is on about whether or not they are even human. Certainly most musicians have a common genetic difference. Some are so powerful, their lifeline is tied to their music. These people are immortal, and are sometimes considered to be gods."
The kids in the audience have never seen the stranger on the stage before, but that was commonplace in Paradise City. Bards came in and out frequently. The adults were having a cookout, and had put this guy in charge of entertaining anyone under eighteen. They could not have recognized him anyway, as he had a mask over his face. As an unspoken rule, the kids never were respectful to storytellers. Most kids were already goofing off.
"Yep, I know, history. Never exciting." He said. "Fortunately, this story doesn't sound like history. We live in a world where history sounds almost like a myth. And if y'all can stop messing around for five minutes you might find that this story is quite an interesting one."
Everyone froze.
"Now let's see, where was I? Oh yes."
Note: I WILL BE REWRITING THIS AND AND NEXT CHAPTER OVER.
It's not clearly explained (it's designed to describe the scenes like a movie because that's how I see my stories) but the story makes more sense after this I promise
