"I can't believe we're doing this."
"Noted."
The three artists stood before the entrance to the ravine. There was a lot of noise coming from the permanent storm that hung there.
"Really?" Alan questioned, referring to Ava Max's outfit. It appeared to be a waterproof snuggie textured with a sparkly blue pattern.
"Diamonds and Dancefloors. That's all I want," she retorted.
"You're gonna need a bit more to get through that pocket of hell." Alan Walker comments, gesturing to the storm ahead of them.
K-391 stares at it. "Easy peasy."
Ava Max groans. "You have got to be kidding me."
Alan Walker rolls his eyes. "You know K, I can't wait 'till I get married. Put a ring on my finger, A little bit of metal in my punches right where it hurts." And with that, Alan Walker punched K-391 in the face.

The storm was worse than being beat up by Alan. K-391 was used to cold weather. He had grown up in the Norwegian region, after all. But this was insanity. He almost felt like joining in with Alan in a string of violent cursing, when the ledge they were crossing broke apart and they fell 30 feet onto a lower ledge. They hoped that that would be the worst of it,. Sadly, that was not the case. To tell the truth, it only got worse from there.
K-391 was knocked off another ledge by a strong gust of wind and rain. Luckily, he caught himself in midair and teleported back onto the ledge. The same thing almost happened to Ava Max, but K-391 caught her hand, and Alan caught his. For a terrible 7 seconds, all they could do was hold on. They were able to pull her back onto the ledge when the wind let up. Alan dodged a chuck of falling rock that hit K-391 instead. As well, Alan slipped while running, and almost fell off the cliff. He held onto the edge by his fingers. Ava Max ran towards him, and tried to help him up.
"NO DON'T TOUCH ME YOU'RE WEARING METAL-" Alan Walker yelled, but it was too late. She grabbed his hand, and lightning struck her zipper on her outfit. She jumped and let go of his hand, and he banged his chin on the ledge. He fell, unconscious, to a (mercifully not that far down) lower ledge. K-391 slid down after him, but was unable to wake Alan. He called Ava down to help, but when she landed, she fell on her knee. She screamed in pain. K-391 realized they weren't going to be able to go on like this.
K-391 carried Alan into a hollow in the rock. It could barely be called a cave, but it provided several square feet of shelter in a corner. He then helped a still whimpering Ava Max limp to the hollow too. He continued to shake Alan Walker to no avail.
He sighed. "I wouldn't normally do this, and I still shouldn't. But I don't feel like I have a choice."
He took off his headphones, and winced. He hurriedly put them on Alan Walker and pushed a button. He waited, shivering as the headphones glowed bright orange.
Alan awoke with a start. "What the...!" He sat up, ripped K-391's headphones off, realized what they were, then handed them to K-391.
"Sorry, you were out cold, and Ava's hurt, I didn't know what to do!" K-391 said. He walked over and sat down next to Ava Max. "I don't know how to help her. Do you have any medical experience?"
Alan Walker was about to say something when K-391 cut him off. "No Star Trek jokes please."
"You're no fun." Alan Walker gave him a disappointed look. "Aren't you the guy who rhymed "overtime" with "hard to find" once."
"Well what about the time you rhymed "better off alone" with "I don't wanna go"?? K-391 retorted. "I remember that."
""lecture" with "pressure"!" Alan Walker retorted.
They went on bickering for a while, insulting each other's lyric rhyming ability.
"What! That makes perfect sense, you backup singer!"
"You can't tell a C sharp from a D flat!"
"You're a few songs short of an album!"
"Cover artist!"
"Tone deaf!"

"FADED!" Both Ava Max and K-391 shout at Alan Walker.
"Oh great!" Alan Walker shouts back. "I don't know anything about medicine! There! I only have basic supplies in my bag. Here!" He shoves some painkillers at her. "Those are all I have. The angle it's bent at, It's probably a dislocation. Now If you guys don't mind, I probably fractured my jaw falling on it! I need rest, we'll sleep in shifts. 391, you take the first one."
And with that, Alan Walker attempted to get comfortable in a corner, and closed his eyes. K-391 tried to talk to him, but Alan Walker turned away from him, and pulled his mask up over his eyes.
"Why is he like that? Why did he just start yelling?" Ava Max asks after some silence.
"Alan's... complicated at the best of times, and this is more like the worst of times. It doesn't help that we both tend to argue under pressure," K-391 responded solemnly. "Truth be told, I'm close to breaking down myself. Get some sleep, I'll watch."
Ava Max stared at him for several seconds, then obeyed, and nodded off.

"I don't think we can make it like this." Ava Max says six hours later, addressing the group.
"We have to keep trying." Alan Walker says. "We'll have to go back through this anyway if we don't."
"But what if it turns out there's nothing at the end of this ravine?" Ava Max worries.
K-391 Laughs. "If there's nothing there, that's where I'm rebuilding Paradise City, no NCS ship would ever bother us again!"
"In this weather? Are you insane?" Ava Max counters.
"Naturally!" K-391 smiles.
"On the bright side, the weather there by definition has to be better, or no one would build anything here." Alan Walker observes.

So they went back into the storm. They went the remaining 30-35% of the way with K-391 supporting Ava Max. K-391 and Alan Walker set up protective precautions, however, before leaving the cave.
Finally, after what seemed like forever of endless storm, they reached an opening in a cliff and stumbled onto a platform overlooking... "A city?" Alan Walker says in surprise. "Well, this was unexpected." K-391 comments sarcastically. Ava Max exclaims, "We went through ALL THAT, to find... a city tucked away where no one can find it?!? Ohmygod I'm going to do So Much shopping here, it's not even going to be funny. " 'I wouldn't expect anything else." K says, smiling. "Well done, you made it past the storm." a figure says, stepping on to the platform. He draws his sword. "Now you have to deal with me."
