Ah, my old story with insanely short chapters and calling people by their full names
K-391 and Ahrix took the left fork. After running for a while, they stopped.
"How are we going to find everyone?" Ahrix asks, panting and out of breath.
"I don't know," K-391 replies. "Our best hope is to meet up at the roof launchpad, I'll see if TFR can remotely pilot his airship to pick us up there." He dispatches a message to the others.
"Should we go back and look for people?" Ahrix asks.
"No. As much as I'd like to... they can handle themselves. I trust them all to take care of each other, and my only concern right now is you." K-391 replies.
"I... still. Sword Guy and Karate Girl I feel confident about, but what about the girl with the neon pink hair? Can we trust Alan to help her if things get rough? I think they went straight, they'll have to deal with anyone who was following us." Ahrix looks up.
K-391 sighs. "Your concern is valid, but I have no choice but to have faith. I have... a feeling that we can trust Alan to protect Ava Max."
