End of Time (Original) (2)

TFR walked onto the bridge of the airship. Alan Walker was making sure the ship stayed on course, and K-391 was passed out in another chair.
TFR gestured to K-391's unconscious form. Before he could form a question Alan Walker chuckled.
"I haven't killed him, if that's what you're wondering," Alan Walker said with a cruel smile. "Not yet, anyway."
TFR noticed Alan Walker pushed his taser gun deeper into his pocket. "Nice try," TFR smirked. "I know you're way too smart to get caught covering up evil intentions. I swear your goal is to act as shady as possible or something."
Alan Walker gave another small laugh.
TFR sighed, and plopped down in another chair. "I honestly don't care though." Alan Walker glanced at TFR. "All I care about right now is busting Laura out, returning to Arcadia safely, and tuning out the world completely."
"Well, that's a first." Alan Walker said.
TFR gave him a questioning look.
"Seems like everyone I met is interested in finding out my past or motives, catching me with my mask off, or putting some kind of binding promise on me." Alan Walker glazed at K-391.
TFR smirked.
"You know TFR? I kinda like you. In a different world, we could have been friends."

As soon as Alan Walker said that, K-391 shot awake. Alan Walker and K-391 looked at each other, as if they had been hit by a sudden realization. Both of them heard a familiar voice screaming, and in an instant, both of them were hit by a vision so real, it was as if they had been transported somewhere else entirely. And yet the vision was not clear, everything was fogged, and the exact setting was undeterminable.

"I know you know where they are!" an evil voice K-391 had never heard before said.
"How could I know?! I haven't seen them for months!" The same familiar voice almost screamed. K-391's heart pounded. It was Ahrix!
Ahrix screamed. K-391 couldn't see anything clearly, but he could tell Ahrix was being tortured.
"You know where they would be. You knew both of them very well. I know they have their hiding places. Where are Alan Walker and K-391?!" The evil voice said. K-391 guessed it was Plutonium. K-391 instantly wished he would never have to face them, and his concern for Ahrix grew.
"I've told you, I don't know!" Ahrix screamed. "And If I knew, I wouldn't tell you!"
Plutonium attempted to hit Ahrix with whatever they were using to cause him pain. K-391 felt a rush, the same feeling he felt when he was about to use a magical ability, and an orange and blue shield appeared around Ahrix.

The vision dissipated. K-391 found himself out of breath on all fours on the floor. Alan Walker was slumped in his chair. TFR was looking wide eyed at the both of them. The two looked at each other.
"Ahrix is being tortured." K-391 said.
"Yeah," Alan Walker said. "I saw it too."
"What just happened?!" TFR said.
K-391 ignored him. "That promise I made. Ahrix is part of it too. Whenever one of us is in danger..."
"...The others are called to help." Alan Walker finishes. "Did you mean to make the promise go three ways?"
"No," K-391 said. "I can't remember meaning to do anything when I made that promise happen, truth be told."
Alan Walker looked over at TFR. "We just saw a vision of our friend, Ahrix. Plutonium is torturing him. They're trying to get information about us out of him and he;s refusing. And I think at the end, both of us gave a little bit of our magic to protect him, the way we would protect ourselves." Alan Walker explained.
"Artist shields being transferable?" TFR said. "I've never heard of that."
"Yeah, well, you've never heard of the thing I apparently cast on all three of us either." K-391 said.
"All three of us...," Alan Walker said quietly to himself. "So we all get visions when one of us is in trouble. Great." Alan Walker said. The others looked at him. "Ima go take a nap." Alan Walker said in an annoyed tone, and walked off the bridge.
