Four - End Of Time (Original)

Later, In a room backstage,

K-391 jumped up onto a storage box and tugged at the mask over his face. He pulled it off. He had curly black hair and gray eyes that flashed and cracked electric orange. Like all artists, his eyes sparkled. He had a mischievous look on his face, like he was about to pull a practical joke on someone.
"I hate wearing this thing." He sighed.
"Why do you then?" Ahrix asked.
"'Cuz it's easier than having crowds surround me every time I go outside. Best to limit recognition." K-391 responds, pulling a stick of gum out of his pocket.
"That's pointless." Alan Walker counters, while jamming stuff into his backpack. Like K-391, his face was also masked, but not as entirely. His brown hair and blue eyes were visible. He did not rip off his mask. "All it takes is for one person to recognize you."
"Yeah, says you. Doesn't wearing a mask 24/7 defeat the purpose?" K-391 jokes, referring to the fact that Alan Walker practically never took his mask off. At least, not that K-391 had ever seen.
"I've been defeating the purpose sense the day I was born," Alan Walker retorts.
"Don't artists defeat the purpose?" Ahrix asks.
"Purpose of what?" Alan Walker asks.
Ahrix shrugs. "Purpose of reality? I mean, You guys seem to break a lot of rules of physics on a daily basis, just by existing!"
"That may be true," K-391 acknowledges, blowing a bubble. "But what defeats the purpose of Alan?"
"Marshmello." Alan Walker states matter-a-factly, referring to another artist.
Ahrix snickers and K-391 falls to the floor, laughing.

K-391 gets up and changes the subject. "Those stage lights are hot! Why did we have to plan this to be at night!" And takes a drink from a water bottle.
"I didn't think they were hot." Ahrix stated.
"That's because you were under them for what, half a minute!"
"Both of you are wimps!" Alan Walker counters. "I sometimes do shows that are more thirty minutes long, and this one was shorter than five! I had to set up and straighten out about a billion things and constantly monitor every single system to make sure K didn't accidentally kill anyone in the audience! And I'm in all black!"
"And whose choice is that!" K-391 squirts him with the water bottle.
That happy moment, K-391 trying to Get Alan wet, Alan dodging, and all three of them laughing, was the last before this crazy adventure started. Ahrix looked out a window and saw something in the sky...
