The three jump into a nearby car, K-391 in the back seat, Ava Max in the passenger seat, and Alan Walker driving.
"Is this even your car??" Ava Max askes Alan Walker.
"It's mine now!" Alan Walker exclaims, starting the engine and going 0 to 60 in about 2.4 seconds to get away from the mob, who by now had realized K-391's 'observation' was a trick.
K-391 popped up the sunroof and stood up, sticking his head and torso out of the car.
"They're advancing!" K-391 shouted back.
"Then teleport us out of here!" Ava Max shouted.
"I can't," K-391 explains, summoning several orange screens and frantically clicking buttons. "I can only teleport one other person at a time, anything else tires me out too much."
"Well then, what do we do!" Ava Max exclaims.
Alan Walker tried to hand his backpack to K-391, but suddenly, the car hit a pothole too hard, and Alan Walker, startled, rounded a corner with such force that Ava Max got thrown against the car door, hitting the stereo. She whacks a button by accident, and the radio turns on, playing Friends by Marshmello and Anne-Marie.
"Marshmello?!?" Alan Walker yells, startled. K-391 quickly summoned a barrier to prevent them from smashing into a wall.
"How'd you do that so fast?" Ava Max asked K-391, who was now rummaging through Alan Walker's backpack.
"It's called ADHD," Alan Walker explains. "Or is it OCD?"
"CDO," K-391 retorts. "Exact same thing as OCD, but the letters are in alphabetical order as they should be."
K-391 fishes three compact drones out of Alan Walker's backpack, and tosses them into the air, where they transform into drones. K-391 ducks back into the car, and frantically issues commands to the drones from Alan Walker's laptop. The car jerks forward, and the laptop flies out of K-391's hands, and hits Ava Max. She pushes several buttons, and the drones project a barrier, stopping the still-following mob."Where are all the other cars?" K-391 wondered aloud.
"It's 1:30 on a sunday. Everyone's asleep with a hangover," Ava Max replies. "The crowd following us were only awake for an event happening there."
"Can someone find out where the treble clef we are?" Alan Walker interjected, trying to open navigation on his phone.
"I'm going to get a better view," K-391 said, then teleported away. K-391 radioed back a few seconds later. "Alan, we've got problems."
"Big surprise." Alan Walker replied.
"They've closed a parade gate in our path," K-391 continued. "Two actually. And that's the fastest route out of this place."
"What the F sharp is a parade gate!?" Alan Walker said annoyedly.
"It's like... a thing to close off parts of intersections for parades. Like a traffic gate, but three meters tall, electronically controlled, with a permanent location. I don't think ramming through those is a good idea, it could cause severe damage to the car. " K-391 said.
"Can you open it?" Ava Max asked.
"I'm gonna have to," K-391 said. "You guys are going too fast to turn."K-391 was right. Ava max looked out the window. The gate sealing off the end of the road was getting closer by the second.
"K?" She radioed, warningly.
"Almost there! I can't hack the gate open remotely, I'm having to do it manually." He responded.
Ava max glazed out the window. The gate was still closed. Alan Walker seemed to have no intention of swerving to avoid collision, full faith in K-391. She braced for impact...
But as they were about to crash, K-391 was able to open the gate. They flew through the intersection, almost hitting a completely startled Marshmello, who blinked as they sped past.
After that crisis had been cleared, they raced through the streets of Melitopia, Ava Max controlling the drones, K-391 on the roof of the car now, desperately holding on, Alan Walker almost giving up on trying to drive safely, until they cleared the city limits, and skidded to a halt on a nearby beach as the song ended.K-391 falls off the roof.
Alan Walker collapses against the steering wheel, causing the horn to sound. "Now can I change the station?"
Ava Max laughs.
K-391 shoots to his feet, ripping off his mask. "Let's do that again!"
Alan Walker sounds the horn a few more times.
