They start walking to the location TFR had given them.
Ava Max looks off into the distance, then looks over at K-391. "It's weird, but I get the feeling that you and Alan are complete opposites, and yet somehow you're friends?"
K-391 laughs. "We're friends because we're complete opposites."
Ava Max frowns. "I don't get it."
K-391 smirks. "It's like this. Since we're both good at different things, we can help where the other is weak. We each rely on each other to be good at what we suck at personally."
Ava Max still looked confused.
"So, take Alan. He's fast paced, but balanced. He always thinks several moves ahead. He coordinated and he can fight and dodge like nobody's business. He needs things to be logical and planned out. But he's not that good at coping with change. He can focus on multiple things at once, but keeps getting hung up on the little things." K-391 continued. "And then there's me. I can jump my focus from thing to thing quickly. I can make split-second decisions on a dime. And in a battle, you can never see me coming, and never know what hit you. But the quick decisions I make aren't always the best. I am the least coordinated person I know. I have never once accomplished to pat my head and rub my belly at the same time. I can outline and rough draft stuff quickly without worrying about making stuff perfect."
Ava Max listened, starting to see where he was going.
"So it's like that. We need each other to cover for us where we're weak. That's how we work together well too. We each specialize in different aspects of music. But there's just enough overlap of our likes and dislikes so we don't completely hate each other. That's how I feel about it, anyway." K-391 concluded.
"Then what was that argument in the cave thing? You guys sounded like you argue pretty often." Ava Max queried after thinking for sometime.
K-391 sighed. "Yeah, we do have fights. That's the one part I don't get. Sometimes we have these fights so intense, well, let's just say we've sent more than one collab partner running and hiding until it's all over."
"Maybe Alan's just an argumentative person." Ava Max suggested.
"Maybe." K-391 admitted. "But I don't think he is, for some reason."
"Then what is-" Ava Max was cut off by seeing Alan Walker approaching.
"Hey." Alan Walker said.
The other two stared at him.
"Umm... Did you guys just get dive-bombed by a chick that told you that TFR was inviting you to dinner in a way that sounded like he was really planning to chop off your head?" Alan Walker asked.
"No..." Ava Max looks at K-391.
"He got Anjuiled!" K-391 laughs, falling to the ground in a fit of giggles. The other two look at him.
"Is there something wrong with you?" Alan Walker asks.
