Now, these artists had a rival. NCS. No copyright sounds. They believed that the artists were keeping music for themselves. They ran a program that did the opposite of that. But they were never really rivals in anything but name. They acknowledged each other's existence, an Agree-to-disagree situation. An artist could choose to license a song under their label. If another artist didn't like what was going on there, there wasn't much that could be done about it. And there was really nothing to dislike about it until one day NCS went completely nuts. Somehow, overnight, NCS went from a peaceful society to what many consider a dark empire. How? Your guess is as good as mine. They started Raiding villages, destroying those who opposed them and generally being a pain.
But then one day, a young artist who had been captured decided he just wasn't gonna take it anymore. His name was Alan Walker. One night he escaped from the NCS main building leading all the others he could free. Ironically enough, legend says they left by airship. They landed, or crashed was more like it, considering that that was Alan's first time piloting an airship, and they built this city.
But that's not the end of the story. Not even close.
