K-391 and Ahrix had their own problems. Arhix was starting to hear noise down the corridor. He tried to let K-391 know, but K-391 was busy fixing his headphones. The noise got louder as enemies approached. Ahrix started to panic. The enemies rounded the corner and Ahrix activated a door, sealing off the corridor in their faces.
Ahrix turned to K-391, who was looking at him. "This seemed like a much safer option."
K-391 nods. "Good thinking," K-391 got up, and radioed to the others, "Alright, I think I got my headphones to function properly. For the most part anyway. I'll drop Ahrix off with TFR and Laura, then come back for Alan and Ava. Sound good?"
There were murmurs of agreement from the others. K-391 left Ahrix with TFR and Laura, as planned. When he went to meet up with Alan Walker and Ava Max, he found them fighting, which was to be expected. He broke it up by grabbing Ava Max's arm, and teleporting away with her. But when he went back for Alan Walker, disaster struck.
