K-391 forced open the door to the corridor. He quickly scans all the cells. He spies Ahrix in the last one.
"K-391!" Ahrix exclaims.
"Ahrix!" K-391 calls back. "Hang on, I'll get you out."
K-391 powers up his headphones and frees Ahrix. The two embrace. K-391 was crying. It had been so long. He knew they were not safe yet, but he wanted to treasure that one moment of knowing that he had got what he had come for.
"I'm so sorry." K-391 sobs.
"K, I don't blame you for any of this. This was all my choice." Ahrix ashures him.
"But it's been almost three months. I feel bad about not coming sooner." K-391 says.
"I'm just thankful you came at all, TBH." Ahrix says. "Hey, what happened to your headphones?"
"Alan broke them." K-391 replied. "So I had to make new ones."
Ahrix gave him an alarmed look. K-391 knew his thoughts on Alan Walker.
"You were probably doing the standard K-391 thing, seeing new places, doing new things, making new friends." Ahrix smiles.
"Yes, yes, and yes." K-391 laughs. "Come on, I want you to meet 'the new friends'."
