I'm honestly just publishing this for publishing sake and not wanting to leave a story discontinued before it's ending.

TheFatRat and Laura Brehm took the right fork. After running for a while, they skidded to a halt.
"Where are the others?" Laura Brehm asked TFR.
"They must have gone different directions," Replied TFR.
"God... I hope for their sake they didn't go straight. They'd have to deal with whoever was following us. Are they going to be okay?" Laura Brehm asks.
TFR looks at his phone. "K-391 says to meet at the roof launchpad. I can't bring the ship around, we'll have to improvise."
"Great, where's that?" Laura Brehm asks.
        TFR looks around. "Dunno."
"Great," Laura Brehm repeats. "Well, let's keep going. Maybe we'll see a "you are here" sign or something."
        TFR snorts.
They keep walking, until they come to a roadblock. In the form of lasers. Lots of them. It literally blocked their road.
"Now I understand what Alan meant by tight security," TFR commented.
"I don't get it," Laura Brehm stated. "Why not just seal the corridor off? Why waste energy on lasers?"
"Maybe it's designed for someone who excels at gymnastics, and only for them to get in? I don't think this was turned on to stop us, they couldn't have known, Alan disabled all the security cameras," TFR states.
"You mean I smashed the ones back there for nothing?!" Laura Brehm complains.
        "Yep." TFR admits.
Laura Brehm pouts. "Well. Let's get going."
