One sunny afternoon, Y/n found herself on a grassy hill overlooking the village, watching the clouds drift across the sky.
As she sat there, she thought about how peaceful the days were and how she'd like them to continue forever.
Sure, she sometimes found it boring, what with the lack of entertainment. No TV, no mobile, no internet, no driving... wait, no, not the driving part. Cancel that, cancel that.
Leo was passing by the hill after his sword practice. He spotted Y/n lazing around and chuckled at her weird expression. He decided to meet up and sat down beside her. "Hey, Y/n! What are you doing up here all by yourself?" Leo asked.
"I'm just enjoying the view," Y/n replied, smiling warmly. "It's so peaceful up here."
Leo nodded in agreement, gazing out at the village below. "Yeah, it really is. You know, my dad always says that this hill is the best spot in all of Berk."
Y/n giggled, swinging her legs. "It feels like we're on top of the world!"
Leo grinned. "Yeah! Maybe one day, we'll be warriors and protect the village from dragons!"
Y/n pretended to be excited. "Really? You think we could?"
Leo nodded confidently. "For sure! We'll be the best dragon fighters ever!"
Y/n hesitated for a moment, then smiled and nodded, not wanting to dampen his excitement. "Yeah, that would be amazing."
Leo stood up, mimicking a fierce stance. "Rawr! Take that, dragons!"
Y/n joined him, though her heart wasn't in it. "Rawr! We'll show them!"
Leo laughed, pleased with their pretend battle. "And after we win, we'll come back here and celebrate!"
And so, Y/n and Leo spent the afternoon chatting and laughing. As the sun began to set, they made their way back to the village, their hearts full of joy and anticipation for the adventures that lay ahead.
As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm golden glow over the village of Berk, Y/n, and Leo were engrossed in a game of hide-and-seek. Laughter echoed through the air as they darted between buildings, their young voices filled with excitement and joy.
Suddenly, a loud roar shattered the peaceful evening, causing Y/n to freeze in fear. Leo's eyes widened with alarm as he grabbed Y/n's hand, his voice trembling.
"What was that?" he whispered, his heart pounding in his chest.
Before Y/n could respond, the ground shook beneath their feet as a massive shadow loomed overhead. With a deafening roar, a dragon swooped down from the sky, its fiery breath lighting up the night with an orange glow.
Panic erupted in the village as villagers scattered in all directions, seeking shelter from the terrifying creature. Y/n clung tightly to Leo's hand, her heart racing with fear as they darted between buildings, desperate to find safety.
Suddenly, a figure appeared before them, her blonde hair streaming behind her as she raced towards them with determination. A fierce and fearless warrior even at such a young age.
"Come on, we need to get to the shelter!" she shouted her voice firm and commanding.
With the girl leading the way, Y/n and Leo followed closely behind, their hearts pounding with adrenaline as they raced through the chaos of the village. The dragon's roars grew louder, sending shivers down their spines as they sought refuge in the safety of the shelter.
As they huddled together in the dimly lit shelter, Y/n looked around at the frightened faces of the villagers, her mind reeling with fear and uncertainty. But amidst the chaos, she found solace in the presence of her friend Leo, and the courageous little girl by her side. But she looked a bit familiar to Y/n, "Who is she?"
