As the afternoon sun bathes the world in a golden hue, Toothless and Hiccup fly through the sky.

The air is crisp, and the sky is a perfect blue canvas, dotted with billowing clouds that rise like majestic mountains. Far below, the ground is a distant memory, the vast expanse of the sea stretching endlessly beneath them.

Hiccup leans forward slightly, "Okay there, bud, we're gonna take this nice and slow."

He glances down at a leather cheat sheet, carefully clipped onto his harness. The sheet is etched with intricate markings—various tail positions paired with corresponding pedal settings. Each one has been meticulously studied, yet the reality of flight always brings new challenges.

"Here we go. Here we go...position three, no four," Hiccup murmurs, making a quick decision. He presses the pedal with measured precision. The tail flares out in response, and Toothless rolls into a graceful bank. The movement is smooth and controlled, the late afternoon sun casting a glorious light on the pair as they arc through the sky.

Hiccup tucks himself tighter against Toothless's neck, a thrill coursing through him as the new harness and vest hold steady. The foot controls respond with agility, allowing the prosthetic tail to move in perfect harmony with Toothless's natural instincts.

Ahead, a towering arch of stone rises from the sea, its shadow stretching long and dark across the water. Hiccup's eyes narrow, sizing up the challenge.

Here, near the outskirts of the forest, as Y/n clung tightly to D/n's neck, she felt her heart pounding like a drum in her chest. The moment D/n's wings spread wide and they lifted off the ground, Y/n's panic surged.

"What is happening?! Why are we flying?!" her mind screamed as they soared higher. She let out a startled cry, her knuckles white as she gripped D/n's neck for dear life.

D/n, oblivious to her fear, continued to ascend, his wings slicing through the air with ease. Y/n squeezed her eyes shut, unable to comprehend the rush of wind against her face, and the way the ground rapidly fell away beneath them.

"Ahh! D/n, what are you doing?!" she yelled, her voice carried away by the wind. Each powerful beat of D/n's wings only intensified her fear, making her grip tighter.

After what felt like an eternity, D/n reached a certain height and leveled out. The smooth glide of the flight began to calm Y/n's frantic thoughts. Hesitantly, she opened one eye, then the other, and was met with a breathtaking sight.

The sky stretched out endlessly around them, a vast expanse of blue with the sun casting a warm, golden glow. The clouds looked close enough to touch, like soft, floating mountains. The sheer beauty of it all momentarily silenced her fear, leaving her in awe.

"Wow..."

"This is something I have never experienced."

"I guess you just wanted to show me the world from above, right?", D/n growled happily.

"Thanks, D/n, for showing me this." Y/n leaned forward hugging the dragon in gratitude.

On the other hand, Hiccup, with an intense focus, urged Toothless as they lined up perfectly to pass through the arch.

"Alright, it's go time. It's go time."

"Come on. Come on, buddy. Come on, buddy!" They zipped through the arch in one smooth motion, a perfect maneuver that filled Hiccup with triumph.

"Yeah! Yes, it worked!"

They banked sharply to navigate the turns and smacked into one of several sea stacks. Hiccup winced, quickly apologizing, "Sorry." They hurtled into another rock pillar, and Toothless grumbled in response.
