A few days later, as the morning light filtered through the window, Y/n slowly blinked her eyes open, her mind still groggy from sleep. Reality crashed back in with sudden clarity, reminding her of the events of previous days. She was no longer in her familiar world but in the midst of Berk, a village she knew as home.

Pushing aside the covers, Y/n sat up, her heart racing with a mix of excitement and apprehension. She glanced around the rustic room, taking in the wooden beams and stone walls that marked her new home. With a deep breath, she resolved to make the most of this second chance at life.

Standing up, Y/n smoothed out her clothes and made her way to the door. She paused for a moment, hesitating before reaching for the handle. "Here goes nothing," she murmured to herself, steeling her nerves.

As she stepped outside, the sights and sounds of Berk greeted her, a bustling village full of life and activity. The salty scent of the sea filled the air, mingling with the sounds of laughter and chatter from the villagers going about their day.

Taking it all in, Y/n felt a sense of wonder and curiosity wash over her. "This is incredible," she whispered to herself, a smile tugging at the corners of her lips. "I never imagined I'd get to experience something like this."

As she walked along the cobbled streets, Y/n made a conscious effort to greet the people she passed, offering a shy smile and a polite nod. She recognized a few faces from her brief time in Berk, including a kindly lady who often visited her parents' shop.

"Good morning, Mrs. Jensen," Y/n greeted her with a small wave as they crossed paths. "Lovely day, isn't it?"

Mrs. Jensen returned the smile, her eyes twinkling with warmth. "Indeed it is, little angle."Y/n blushed on the nickname given. "How is your mother doing?" Mrs. Jensen asked Y/n. "Oh, she is doing great."

With a final smile, Y/n continued on her way, her thoughts turning to her next task. She had promised herself she would find her father's shop and familiarize herself with the village layout. It was a small step, but one that made her feel a little more grounded in this strange new world.

...

As Y/n made her way through the village, the carpentry shop stood out among the row of buildings, its wooden sign swinging gently in the breeze.

Taking a deep breath, Y/n pushed open the door and stepped inside, the familiar scent of sawdust and wood shavings washing over her. Her father looked up from his workbench, a warm smile spreading across his face.

"Morning, sweetheart," he greeted her, setting down his tools. "What brings you by? Did you make it here alone? You are a brave girl."

Y/n nodded with a smile, a surge of affection welling up inside her. "Just wanted to say hello, Dad. And I just missed you."

Her father chuckled, ruffling her hair affectionately. "I missed you too. Well, you know where to find me if you need anything."

With a nod of gratitude, Y/n made her way back outside, feeling a sense of pride and reassurance at her father's words. She was beginning to find her footing in Berk, one step at a time.

As Y/n walked back home, her thoughts were interrupted by a sudden collision, sending her stumbling backward. She gasped as she felt herself falling, bracing for impact.

A hand shot out to catch her, strong and steady, breaking her fall. Blinking in surprise, Y/n looked up to find herself face to face with a boy about her age, with blonde hair and bright amber eyes."Sorry about that," he said, his voice sheepish. "I didn't see you there."
