Hiccup used a hammer in the cove to create a patch of light on the ground. Toothless clawed and chased the light patch like a cat chasing a laser pointer. They played like this for a while, their laughter and Toothless's playful roars echoing through the cove.

Y/n entered the cove with some snacks for Hiccup and fish for Toothless. "Hey, you two, thought you might be hungry," she said with a smile, setting down the food.

Hiccup grinned, "Thanks, Y/n. You're a lifesaver." He took a piece of bread and offered a fish to Toothless, who eagerly accepted it.

While they ate, Y/n found herself lost in thought. "Should I tell him about the sand wraith I met the other day? No, no, I don't want to risk anything extra. Besides, I have already set myself up to change some events, so I should deal with them on my own. If the situation is under control, I will tell him sometime."

Hiccup glanced at her and noticed the troubled look on her face. "Y/n, are you okay? And did you... cry?"

She snapped out of her thoughts and panicked a little, remembering the crying she did last night that might have made her eyes look puffy and drained. "Oh, it's nothing," she said, forcing a smile. "Just had a rough night. You know how it is."

Hiccup looked concerned but didn't press further. "If you ever need to talk, you know I'm here, right?"

Y/n nodded, grateful for his support. "I have to be careful how I look after a breakdown, I'm making people worry about me. ", she thought, sighing inwardly. "And I need to deal with these nightmares too".

As they continued eating, the playful atmosphere returned, but Y/n couldn't shake the feeling of impending challenges. She knew she had to be strong and prepared for whatever came next.

"Hiccup, so what trick are you gonna use this time in the training?" she said playfully, trying to change the topic.

Hiccup chuckled, shaking his head. "Hey, they aren't tricks. I just give it a try to see how they react, that's all. And I think these dragons share so much in common, and I'm learning."

Y/n's thoughts drifted to the sand wraith she had met. Excitement perked up within her, and she felt an urge to check on the dragon, to see if it was okay or if more treatment was needed.

She stood up and grabbed her bag, her mind racing with possibilities. "I, uh, just remembered I need to take care of something," she said, making an excuse. "I'll catch up with you later."

Hiccup and Toothless watched her leave, both sensing there was more to her sudden departure than she let on. Hiccup glanced at Toothless, who responded with a curious tilt of his head.

"Do you think she's alright?" Hiccup mused aloud, concern etched on his face.

Toothless let out a soft, questioning warble as if sharing his friend's worry.

Y/n hurried through the forest, her heart pounding with a mix of worry and excitement. She hoped the sand wraith was still there and that it hadn't flown off in search of a more hospitable environment. She knew she had to help it, to do something meaningful.

As she reached the spot where she had last seen the dragon, she scanned the area, her senses on high alert. The sound of rhythmic breathing reached her ears, and she carefully approached, hoping to find the sand wraith resting and ready for another visit.

Y/n reached the forest, her bag slung over her shoulder, heart racing with anticipation. She knew the sand wraith was still recovering and wanted to check on it. As she made her way deeper into the woods, she thought, "I didn't bring a weapon with me... I was afraid the dragon wouldn't let me near if it sensed any threat." She felt a mix of excitement and nervousness, wondering if the sand wraith had made any progress in its recovery.
