At the break of dawn, the sun cast a gentle light through the kitchen window, illuminating the well-worn countertops and the assorted jars and containers neatly lined up on the shelves. The next morning, Y/n's mother, M/n, noticed the dwindling medical supplies while preparing for the day.

"Oh dear, it looks like we're running low on some of the smaller wound supplies," M/n said.

Y/n was finishing her breakfast, her knee bandaged from the previous day's fall. M/n turned to her with a concerned look.

"Are you feeling alright today, Y/n? I need to restock our supplies from Gothi, but I don't want you to strain yourself," M/n said.

Y/n saw an opportunity to explore more of Berk and happily volunteered. "I'm fine, Mom. I can go to Gothi's hut and get the supplies. It'll give me a chance to stretch my legs," she said.

"Are you sure? Your wound is still healing," M/n asked.

"Yes, I'm sure. It's not hurting much anymore. Besides, I want to help," Y/n assured her.

M/n smiled, appreciating her daughter's eagerness. "Alright then. Here, take this list to Gothi and be careful on your way," she said, handing Y/n a slip of paper with the list of needed supplies.

Y/n set out with excitement, her heart light as she walked through the village. The sun was shining, and the air was crisp. She felt a sense of adventure as she made her way to Gothi's hut, perched atop a stone hill.

"This will be a good chance to see more of Berk and maybe meet more people. Plus, Gothi's hut sounds interesting," she thought.

When Y/n arrived, she saw a boy around her age, chubby with blond hair, eagerly watching an older woman move her stick to write some figures down. The boy's mother was standing nearby, smiling as she observed her son.

"Wow, I didn't expect to see Fishlegs here. He's learning the writings that Gothi makes on the sand, with the help of his mother. That's so cute!" Y/n thought.

Y/n approached them cautiously, not wanting to interrupt. Fishlegs' mother noticed her and greeted her warmly.

"Hello there! You must be Y/n, F/n's daughter, right?" Fishlegs' mother said.

"Yes, ma'am. I'm here to pick up some supplies for my mom," Y/n replied. Fishlegs turned and smiled shyly at Y/n. "Hi, I'm Fishlegs," he said.

"Hi, Fishlegs. Nice to meet you," Y/n smiled back.

Gothi, the village elder and healer, noticed Y/n and beckoned her closer. Y/n handed Gothi the slip of paper her mother had given her. Gothi read it, nodded, and started gathering the needed supplies.

"It's nice to see young ones taking on responsibilities. Your mother must be proud of you," Fishlegs' mother said.

"Thank you. I like helping out," Y/n said.

Gothi handed Y/n a small basket filled with the requested items. Y/n thanked Gothi, who gave her a kind, silent nod.

"Thanks for the supplies, Gothi. And it was nice meeting you, Fishlegs," Y/n said.

"Nice meeting you too, Y/n! Maybe we can discuss the things I'm learning, sometime?" Fishlegs suggested.

"Yeah sure, I'd like that," Y/n replied.

Y/n left Gothi's hut and made her way back home, the basket of supplies in hand. She felt a sense of accomplishment and happiness from meeting new people and completing her task.

"Today was a good day. I got to meet Fishlegs and see Gothi's hut. Plus, I'm starting to feel more at home here in Berk," she thought. She returned home with a smile, ready to tell her mother about her little adventure.
