Y/n's heart jumped into her throat as she looked around in panic.

"What was that noise?" she muttered, throwing off her blanket and rushing to the window. The night sky was ablaze with fire and chaos. Screams and the clash of weapons filled the air. Dragons were attacking Berk.

Her breath quickened as she grabbed her boots and a knife, racing out of her room. The hallway was a blur as she sprinted toward the front door, her thoughts a whirlwind of fear and urgency. "Why it has to be now?"

Stepping outside, the scene was one of pure pandemonium. Villagers ran in all directions, trying to fend off the dragons or find shelter. The air was thick with smoke and the acrid smell of burning wood. Overhead, dragons swooped and dived, their roars mingling with the shouts of the villagers.

---

Y/n rushed towards the forge, to assist Gobber with the weapons. The air was thick with smoke and the roars of dragons, but she kept her focus, handing Gobber tools and weapons to fix them and give them back to the villagers.

Meanwhile, Hiccup is seen in his house, after a dragon puts on fire on his door, he opens the sizzling door of his house and leaps off the front porch. He weaves through the erupting mayhem as Vikings pour out of the buildings, ready for a fight, and rushes past gigantic men and women.

"Ack".

Stoick, the biggest Viking of all, yanks Hiccup from the path of a strafing dragon and holds him aloft to the crowd, shouting accusingly, "Hiccup!? What is he doing out again?!"

Turning to Hiccup, Stoick demands, "What are YOU doing out?! Get inside!"

The flames light up Stoick's scowling face and matted red beard. He sets Hiccup down and turns to the sky, searching.

Stoick looks at the general and asks, "What have we got?"

"Gronkles, Nadders, Zipplebacks, and a Monstrous Nightmare," the general, F/n, replies.

"Any Night Furies?" Stoick inquires.

"None so far," F/n responds.

"Good," Stoick says, relieved.

"Hoist the torches!" F/n orders.

Massive flaming braziers are raised on poles, lighting up the night sky and revealing swirling dragons of all types. Below, Hiccup crosses an open plaza and ducks into an open building with a tall chimney.

He crosses behind a counter where Gobber is reshaping blades with a hammer and tongs appendage.

"Ah! Nice of you to join the party," Gobber exclaims.

Hiccup dons a leather apron and starts to put away Gobber's scattered appendages.

Y/n turned, her face lighting up momentarily despite the chaos. "Hey, Hiccup! Perfect timing. Take over for me here," she said, quickly handing him her tools.

Hiccup looked startled but nodded. "Y/n! Oh sure. But where are you going?"

"I need to help others," Y/n replied, already moving towards the door. "Keep things under control here!"

As she ran out, she called back over her shoulder, "Be careful, Hiccup!"

"Not even she trusts him." Gobber mutters, "What?" Hiccup questioned.

"Ah, nothing, I thought you'd been carried off," Gobber says.

"Who, me? Nah, come on! I'm way too muscular for their taste. They wouldn't know what to do with all this," Hiccup replies, striking a bodybuilder pose.
