[ Y/n: Your name]

[O/n: Orignal name]

After her injury had healed and she had regained her strength, Y/n felt a renewed determination to learn how to defend herself and contribute to the village. She approached Astrid, who was known for her skill in combat, and asked if she could receive training from her.

Y/n stood nervously in front of Astrid, her heart pounding with anticipation. "Um, hi, Astrid. I was wondering if you could teach me some combat skills. I want to be able to defend myself and help protect the village."

Astrid regarded Y/n with a scrutinizing gaze, assessing her determination and sincerity. "Combat training isn't easy, Y/n. Are you sure you're up for it?"

Y/n nodded firmly, determination shining in her eyes. "I'm ready to learn, Astrid. I won't let you down."

Impressed by Y/n's resolve, Astrid agreed to take her on as a student. "Alright then, let's get started. We'll begin with the basics."

Under Astrid's guidance, Y/n embarked on her first training session, learning the fundamentals of combat and self-defense. Astrid taught her various techniques, from basic strikes and blocks to more advanced maneuvers.

Y/n threw herself into the training with gusto, eager to absorb as much knowledge as she could. Despite her initial clumsiness and lack of experience, she showed remarkable progress, fueled by her determination to succeed.

Astrid observed Y/n closely, offering encouragement and correction as needed. "Good, Y/n! Keep your stance steady and focus on your breathing. You're doing great."Y/n nodded, her muscles aching but her spirits high. She was determined to master these skills and become a capable fighter.

As the training session progressed, Y/n found herself growing closer to Astrid, admiring her strength, determination, and unwavering dedication to protecting the village. "Thanks for teaching me, Astrid. I really appreciate it."

Astrid smiled warmly at her student, her respect for Y/n growing with each passing moment. "You're welcome, Y/n. Just remember, combat training takes time and practice. But with determination like yours, I have no doubt you'll become a skilled fighter."

Y/n beamed at Astrid's words, feeling a sense of pride and accomplishment swell within her.

After a rigorous training session with Astrid, Y/n retreated to her room, feeling both physically and mentally exhausted.

She returned to her room and sat at her desk, too tired to do anything but sit and breathe for a while. After a moment, she picked up a piece of paper and a pencil and began writing. She wanted to document her thoughts and plans for the future, which included a list of things she needed to do to be prepared for raids or threats to the village.

She also wanted to figure out a way to keep Hiccup from losing his leg, determined to find a solution that would spare him from such a fate. She wrote down different ideas and scenarios, trying to work out a plan. She wrote until she couldn't hold her pencil or keep her eyes open any longer.

Fatigue began to set in as she wrote, her muscles aching from the day's training. Despite her weariness, Y/n pushed through and wrote until she couldn't hold her pencil or keep her eyes open any longer.

In a moment of peace, Y/n leaned back in her chair, and her thoughts drifted back to her previous life in the modern world. She wondered what was happening there now, thousands of miles away, maybe in a different universe, worlds away from Berk.
