KABANATA XXXIII - Practice

SAMANTHA POV:

A week before the christmas party and a week to practice fully.

Kakatapos lang ng huli namin na klase sa araw na 'to, yun ay MAPEH.

Pinuntahan ng mga kaklase ko ang office ni ma'am upang manghiram ng speaker. Medyo matagal-tagal na rin kaming nagpa-practice kada hapon.

Si Rogina leader dito at halata sa mga mukha ng kasama namin na parang hindi naman sila payag pero wala silang choice =__=

Madalas nga nila pinaparinig na ako na raw ang tumayong leader, agad-agaran naman akong umaayaw.

Nakikita ko ang mga effort ni Rogina para lang turuan kami nang maayos sa steps. I can't deny din na it suits her well as a leader even though she's a little strict talaga, but, leaders should be strict...right?

Every practice that she's gonna start teaching us, there's those times that she unintentionally shouts at someone or raising her voice higher than usual. I can't let it shake off like it's a casual friday, but, it's surely not. So, I always ends up putting a small smile on my lips as I reacher her to tell that she's being out of her line.

You can say sorry for all those words you throw at someone, but, you can't remove the trauma or pain they felt after hearing that. It's not something to be normalized off, because you're a leader, but, we should be more gentle in correcting them/people too.

As I was preparing nearly in my seat, which is in the side corner, so that we can practice with a lot of space.

While fixing my hair, someone spoke from behind me. "Goodluck, my princess."

Three words but made me stunned in my place. I can't really feel of moving at all! while my body is stunned, I heard footsteps walking near me more, more likely to stand infront of me.

I sigh as I just accepted my fate that I can't move for a little while, his words really affected me.

Now, he's looking at me, while having a soft smile, an encouraging smile to describe more on.

"I'll be around to cheer for you. I'm also here to help you, if you need one"he uttered and his slowly placing on back of his nape.

I replied a soft smile. "Sure ba! lakasan mo cheer mo ha?"I said and chuckled in a low tone.

He chuckles. "Okaay, no problem. I won't mind cheering for you in my favorite nickname of yours."

My eyes widened as my mouth opened a little in suprised. "Ha?hoyy! 'wag nga!"I immediately retorted.

He once again chuckled, enjoying that he's getting the reaction he wants after teasing me. "Sinabi mo na, walang bawian."

Magrerebat pa sana ako pabalik nang biglang pumasok ang mga kaklase ko, hawak-hawak ang speaker, talagang nirarampa pa 'yan.

"Okeyy guys, please stand in your line. We're gonna start our practice, so that we can go home as soon as possible"Rogina uttered as she just entered the class room.

We nodded as responses. Before I left the place, I faced him and my gaze fall on his eyes. "Huwag kang mai-inlove ha?"I joked.

He placed his hands on his pockets as he tilted his head a little on the side. "Ako?matagal na"he said with a normal tone, no hint of joking at all.

"Magpra-practice na nga ako!"I said and walk away, I even heard him letting out a chuckle.

Minsan talaga, hindi ko alam kung manliligaw ko 'tong lalaki na 'to o mang-aasar ko sa buhay eh.
