Nees asked me to go to dinner with her after our game against Atlanta tonight.

To my surprise she brought Flau'jae along with her, I should've known that she had something up her sleeve.

Tonight was the first time i've seen her in a year and a half and she still look good. I was fine with seeing her at the game but having to sit across a dinner table from her? No.

The dinner started off awkward cause she wouldn't stop staring at me after she ordered her drink.

Hell I might need a drink too.

I asked her to stop looking at me when she replied "Only if you stop ignoring me"

I looked up at her so she could see that I was serious in not talking to her "Don't dew that"

We made direct eye contact and every feeling i've been ignoring came rushing back.

She gave me a soft smile and lord I definitely need a drink, this about to be a long dinner.

"I need a drink tewww tell that lady come back" I spoke looking at Nees as she grinned looking between us

"Mhm, y'all know what y'all want to eat yet and don't say each other" She spoke

"Nees, stop it, you know it'll never be like that anymore" I said cutting my eye at Flau'jae

"Never?" Flau'jae said with a grin like she was about to prove me wrong

"Anyways i'm not sure what I want tew eat Nees." I said ignoring her focusing on Nees

"You gone ignore me the whole dinner?" Flau'jae asked

"If I have tew yes" I responded

"I feel like i'm in college again damn. Can y'all please get along?"

"I'm tryi-" Flau'jae started

"No" I spoke

"Angel stop acting like you hate her" Nees started

"I dew"

"Now where the lady at I need a drink." I spoke

Flau'jae just sat back in her chair watching as the waitress came back over with her drink and Ness tea.

Nees smacked my leg under the table and looked at me mouthing "Why would you say that"

I just shrugged telling the waitress what I wanted.

"Can I get a strawberry margarita on the rocks, top shelf, please" I asked

"Actually bring me two"

I looked over to see that Flau'jae was already halfway done with her drink which surprised me a little bit.

"It's finna be a long night I see" Nees said laughing

She pulled out her phone and started calling somebody only for me to hear Mani voice "Neeeeeeees!"

"Mani look who I got together" she said as she turned the phone around so I could see Mani

"OMG OMG IT'S ANGEL REESE!" She yelled over the phone making me laugh

"Hi Mani I miss you, when yew coming to visit again?"

"When Nees leave that man alone" She spoke

"Don't dew her" I spoke

"Anyways Mani look who else is here" she said turning the phone towards Flau'jae who finished her drink and was trying to flag down a waitress to get another one.
