Sitting on the bamboo hardwood floors, I gently scratch the top of a Balinese cat, slowly relieving my head of many pent up emotions and thoughts. Sighing deeply, I feel a small paw place itself on my hip, turning to see a Ragdoll cat.

"Hello there..." I speak softly and quietly, bringing my free hand to the top of its head. I smile, shifting my sitting position to have both cats on my lap. I hear the soft ding of the front door being opened, alerting me of a new customer, but the noise doesn't faze me. Looking into the wide blue curious eyes of Haru, the blonde tabby cat, I feel the tension melt off of my shoulders.

"L/N?" I'm startled by the sudden tired voice just above me. Looking semi forward, I find a pair of black shoes a few feet in front of me. Following the figure upwards I see gray sweats, a blue jacket, undone, over top a white shirt with simple colored patterns, and finally a male's face, with dark eyebags and unruly purple hair.

"H-hitoshi!?" I say startled. "What're you doing here?" I question. He looks down to his feet as a bombay cat nudges its face then body against his shin. Gazing up at his face, I spot a small, subtle smile. "I guess that answers my question." He looks up, a faint blush on his cheek when he notices my gaze. He places a nervous hand on the back of his neck, smiling wider, but sheepishly.

"What brings you here?" I giggle, gesturing to the cats piled up in my lap. "Oh, yeah. Guess that makes sense." He gestures awkwardly to the floor, sitting when I nod at him in confirmation.

"So, uh, you come here often?" I laugh at his choice of words, disturbing a few of the cats around me.

"I guess you could say that." He nods, watching as the cat from earlier crawls up and into his lap. We sit in silence for a few moments, scratching the cats on the tops of their heads, rubbing their backs. Some more time goes by before we're questioned by a waiter if there's anything we want.

"I'll have a matcha Bubble Tea." Shinso states.

"Make that two!" I add on. In my peripheral vision, he glances at me, smiling subtly. Returning both our gazes to the small furry creatures in our laps, a comfortable silence settles around us. As our drinks arrived, we had begun a small conversation about our hero training, myself being curious to how he was holding up with Aizawa. By the time we had finished everything and were both ready to go, it was dark, so he offered to walk with me back to my dorm, and I accepted happily.

...

"Well, thanks again for walking me back, Shin." I spoke quietly as we stood just outside the entrance to the 1-A dorms, and they were quite nosy.

"Of course." Extending a hand out, he shakes it, then I turn, walking towards the door when I'm stopped by his timid voice.

"Hey, maybe we can hang out like this again, or you could come train with me?" I nod.

"That sounds like fun Shin-"

"Call me Hitoshi!"

"Alright Hitoshi, call me Y/N." He smiles, nodding back before turning to head to his own dorm.
