Sprinting across bread bridge, clutching a small brown sack of diamonds, I follow Scar closely, jumping over small holes of water, feeding into the crops around. An arrow wizzes by, just barely grazing my cheek, nearly hitting Scar in the side. Coming to the edge, we leap off, Scar whooping in the process making me laugh. Touching down onto the vibrant grass in a somersault, we pick ourselves up, making our way now to the other side of Clockers tower. Yelling from the Bad Boys as they teeter on the edge of their bridge slowly fades, arrows soon becoming non-existent. We come to a stop, inhaling deep breaths to calm our quickened heart rates, exchanging laughably expressions. I hand the bag to him,

"Thanks again Y/N! I really owe you."

"It's no problem Scar! Just, please remember to keep up your end of the deal?"

"Of course, of course!" I pull him into a quick hug by his shoulders, feeling his arms wrapping tightly around my back, squeezing before letting go.

"Goodbye Scar."

"Bye Y/N." I wave to Cleo and Bdubs, them returning the gesture from just outside the front door, before turning and making my way back to the Coral Isles. Passing team T.I.E.S, I dive into the blue water, swimming swiftly to the edge of the first island, pulling myself onto in, sitting at the edge. Reaching into my pocket I pull out my clock, glancing at the time left, shifting some of my wet hair, the red glow semi faint.

"Hey Y/N!" I quickly stuff it away, turning to watch Martyn jog around his large hourglass towards me.

"Hey Martyn!" I smile as he plops down beside me, adjusting his yellow headband resting on his forehead, just underneath his hair. "What were you up to this mornin'?" He asks as I lean my head onto his shoulder, breathing in his salty scent.

"Nothing much..." He leans his head onto mine, gently grabbing my hand, and interlacing our fingers. We sit in silence for a while, the atmosphere around us peaceful, only being interrupted by large explosions of TNT being dropped from skynet. We jump from the sudden disturbance, quickly getting to our feet. Another piece is dropped onto the team T.I.E.S tower, causing them to flood out, panic ensuing. I dive back into the water, not noticing Martyn stay behind to grab his weapons. Swimming hastily to the shore then regaining my footing on the soft sand I turn back, seeing Martyn coming to the end of the island, about to dive off, when a grouping of TNT falls right in front of him.

"MARTYN!!!" I scream, but it's too late. It goes off, destroying the ground below, and anything in close proximity, Martyn's figure disappearing. Two pairs of hands grab my arms, holding me back from jumping in and swimming back, putting myself in danger.

"Y/N don't! You'll be in the drop zone." I stop struggling, tears running down my face, watching for his yellow mop of hair to appear in my line of sight. Etho and Tango pull me back, gently rubbing my arms consolingly, more tears fill my eyes, as I lean back into them, TNT continuing to fall from the sky high route, destroying more of the coral islands. We stay like that for a minute or two, then Tango, Etho and Bdubs leave to deal with the Bad Boys as they continue their deadly rain, leaving me to wait.

"Well that was quite the rude disruption." A familiar voice speaks out from the left. I gasp, turning to see him, soaking wet, his accessories a bright red instead of yellow.

"Martyn!" I yell, bolting towards him, colding into his chest, my arms wrapped securely around his middle, his shirt wetting mine even more. He wraps his own around my shoulders, squeezing me back, burying his face into the top of my hair.

"Are you alright?" He asks, concern in his voice as he pulls back, gently cupping my face. I nod, smiling, then it falters.

"How much time do you have left?" He sighs, shaking his head.

"It doesn't matter-." I reach into his pocket, pulling out his clock and glancing at its face, I feel my breath catch in my throat.

"H-how did you lose so much!?"

"As you can see, they keep dropping TNT...they got me a few times, I just woke up quickly." I gulp, weighing my predetermined options, already knowing my path.

"Kill me." He freezes, eyes widening at my sudden request.

"What?"

"Martyn, kill me."

"Why!?"

"You'll get another thirty minutes-."

"No! I'm not going to kill you, I'm not that low."

"But something could happen between now and the end." He sighs heavily, looking away.

"Y/N. I can't do that, you're already low..." I place my hands on the sides of his face, locking eyes with him.

"It'll be fine Martyn...please, just trust me." He holds my gaze, weighing the options.

"Are you sure..?" I nod, making him sigh again. "Alright...Just promise me you'll be okay?" Swallowing hard, I nod once again.

"I promise." He smiles, leaning forward, placing a passionate kiss to my lips, holding my waist tightly, then letting go. We smile at each other, myself taking a few steps back as he draws his sword. He glances into my eyes, holding his weapon, uncertainty only being diminished when I smile again at him. Taking a breath, he steps forward, plunging the sword into my stomach. I gasp, the pain feeling excruciating, making my knees buckle. His lips plunge into a frown, eyes widening and brows furrowing as it dawns on him. The sword is pulled from my body, replaced by a hand, applying sharp pressure, while another falls to my back, gently guiding me into his lap.

"Hey, hey...what's happening?" He asks me, utterly confused to why I hadn't disappeared, re-awakening in my bed, my time losing an hour. "Y/N? What's-." Shifting his hand from my back to my hip, he feels my clock nestled in my pocket, and pulling it out, my time left stings his eyes. "No...what-...why-why did you do this? You only had forty five minutes left..."

"You and I both knew I wasn't going to last that long love..." I cough, blood coming up into my throat and mouth. "Besides, you now have more of a fighting chance."

"We could've done it together! I-I could have given you some of my time..." I shake my head, placing a hand on the side of his face, caressing it.

"Go and win...for both of us." I smile weakly at him, my strength slowly depleting.

"I promise." He leans down, placing a kiss to my forehead, gently pressing his hand on top of mine. The last thing I feel is his hand guiding mine to rest on my stomach, and his soft voice near my ear.

"I'll see you again soon..."
