Travis POV

Glancing over the back of the couch at the kitchen, all I see is darkness occasionally broken up by the under cabinet lighting. I frown dramatically when I don't see my familiar mess of H/C hair wandering around looking for a snack. The guys notice and chuckle.

"She's probably asleep dude." Laurance voices out.

"Yeah, or she's hiding from you." Dante laughs out, getting a playful smack in the shoulder from Laurance.

"Yeah, yeah." I turn my attention back to the TV, Cobra Kai being displayed with its intense action sequence. Shifting in my seat on the black cotton couch next to Garroth, I feel unbelievably uncomfortable. Damn. Am I really that attached to her? I groan, shifting once more in my spot I end up leaning against Garroths side.

"Alright, either go find her and be with her or you're gonna have to move Travis." He says as he pushes me off of his side and onto the floor.

"Finneee." I declare loudly, getting up. All three chuckle as I make my way towards the staircase heading downstairs to my room in the basement. Climbing down the stairs, I peek around the corner of the door frame, spotting her curled up in our bed, cladded in pajamas, with her laptop glowing in front of her. I chuckle at her posture, and overall seating arrangement. How can that be anywhere near comfortable? I question myself, slowly stalking towards hers, careful not to divert her attention away from her work. Gently, I slide onto the bed behind her, placing my legs on either side of her hips. Wrapping my arms around her, and propping myself up against the headboard, I drag her back into me, placing my chin on her shoulder.

"Yes Travis?" She asks sarcastically, not tearing her eyes away from the bright screen.

"Garroth kicked me off the couch."

"What? Why?" She asks giggling slightly.

"Couldn't get comfortable." I say matter of factly, my voice slightly muffled as I bury my face into her shoulder.

"Uh huh." I nod, pulling my face up to peer over her shoulder.

"What'chu writing 'bout now?"

"Technically it's multiple things." She answers, scrolling up on the document to show multiple unfinished or just starred prompts with small outlines. "Mostly Marvel, with a couple of animes, but nothing really new." I hum in response, watching as she rapidly types, every once in a while searching up a synonym for a commonly used word. Glancing at the bottom of her screen I check for the time, seeing it hidden, I turn my head squinting at the painted clock on the other side of the room.

"Oh Irene, it's already past 10 baby."

"Yeah. So?" She asked, still not taking her attention away from her computer.

"Sooo...shouldn't you be going to bed here soon? Aren't you doing some girls get together thingy with Aphmau, Katelyn and Kawaii~Chan tomorrow?"

"Oh, yeah....I'll go to sleep in a bit." No you won't.

"Are you sure you don't just wanna go to bed now?"

"I'll be fine, babe. Besides, I've been staying up late for the last week and I've had tons of energy." Liar.

"You sit on a throne of liesssss...." I mutter into her shoulder quoting Elf, making her giggle.

"If you're tired you can go to sleep without me." She argues.

"Trust me when I say, Garroth made it a point that I can't sit, let alone sleep, without you." I feel her body shake with light laughter.

"Oh my Irene, you're too adorable." She turns her head to face me and nuzzles her nose against mine. I steal a quick kiss, gently attempting to push her computer out of her lap and hands.

"Uh huh. Nice try." She smiles against my lips, gripping the device tightly. Turning her head back towards her screen, she leans forward away from my chest subtly. Sighing once again, I slip out from behind her, standing beside the bed.

"Alright, I believe your time is up. Let's go." I state somewhat playfully as I pull her laptop away, watching her pout and make grabby hands towards her device.

"Nope." I walk over to my desk, placing the computer on it and making my way back to her. She pulls up the blanket and slides underneath, holding up just enough for me to slide in beside her. I wrap my arms around the middle as she lets go of the blanket and shifts to lay her head on my chest. I sigh, feeling her warmth emanate from her, soft breathing coming from her lips.

"I love you Travis." She whispers, tilting her head up to meet my eyes.

"Love you too Y/N."
