"Did Cap and Tk say when they would they back?" Marjan asks the interim captain, Judd as he flips through a newspaper. The whole team, minus Tk and Owen were sitting around the TV, Paul flipped through channels while Mateo tried to convince him to watch some Marvel movie. Marjan had her book laid out on her chest staring at Judd.

Judd just shakes his head, flipping the newspaper over. The woman sighs and rolls her eyes. "Did they at least say where they were going?"

"Nope."

"Do we know anything?" Marj pesters on, causing Paul to groan and sit up, dropping the remote in the chair, and letting a random news channel play out.

"I'm sure they will tell us everything when they get back. For now, we just relax and wait for a call. Maybe get some sleep."

Mateo leans back on the couch and lets out a long sigh. "I could sleep if I had my comfort movie on. Raya would watch it with me." He crosses his arms over his chest and pouts, making the rest roll their eyes at him.

Marjan scoffs and moves to sit down next to him. "Did Raya seem a little off to you guys?"

Judd focuses in, letting the newspaper fall slightly.

Mateo shakes his head at Marj, causing her to twist her body around to Paul and Judd. Paul just shrugs but Judd stares at the paper, a bad feeling stirring around in his stomach. "Judd?"

He takes his eyes off the paper and moves them over to Marj who is awaiting his answer. He shakes his head and flashes his eyes over to the TV, where a newscaster appears on the screen.

Marj shrugs and looks back, finding the TV with her eyes.

"This is so boring Paul, put it back on the infomercial about the cat feeder. That was more interesting than this." Mateo speaks over the lady but when a small heading pops out from the side, capturing Paul, Judd, and Marjans eyes, everything stops.

"I mean anything besides this. Please Paul, what about that show that—"

"Probie, shush." Paul says as he sits up and leans closer to the TV. Judd sets his paper down and stands up, standing behind a seated Marj who has a concerned look on her face.

Mateo scoffs while rolling his eyes but follows their vision. His eyes stop on the TV.

"Breaking News. A local Texas firefighter has officially been declared missing as of 11:24 tonight. Texas Rangers and other law enforcement are being sent to the scene. Law enforcement has asked to keep the name of the firefighter; private for now. We have reporters on the scene as we speak—"

Judd's eyes widen as another person pops on the screen, this time standing in front of an apartment building.

One that looks familiar.

"Oh god." Marj whispers."You don't think—"

A light flicks on from behind them, causing them to all flip over and look to the source.

Owen, Gwyn, Tk, and Carlos all stand in the kitchen. Eyes red and faces swollen.

All 4 of the firefighters look back at the TV. "Local authorities have initiated a widespread search effort, deploying search teams and canine units to comb through the terrain where the firefighter was last spotted. Helicopters equipped with thermal imaging cameras have also been enlisted in the search, scanning the area for any signs of the missing firefighter."
