"Ms. Powers, how are you this evening?" the guy before the restaurant asks.

"Thank you Brian, everything is splendid" Valentina clears her throat "Could we get the 2 seats next to the window? I mean I already reserved it like a week ago so I would hope so" she says.

"Of-of course, follow me please" Brian says politely.

This place is beautiful, this way we are sat now we have a full view to the whole city and beach.

Brian leaves and Valentina pulls out my chair, I smile at her "Thank you" she just gives me a smile.

"Do you come here often? Everyone seems to know you here" I say shyly a little, because what if she brings everyone here before a quick fuck or I don't know.

"It's not what you think" she starts, I look at her confused "I never brought anyone else here, only you" she finishes, relief floods through me.

"They all know me because of my family, when my parents are not available I'm the one who takes over meetings, this place is lets just say the elite of Boston, it makes sense we do meetings here" she explains.

"Do you have to take over often?" I ask interested, she shrugs "There was a time when I had to almost every week, it was tough because I only started teaching and became La Clara's CEO, but I managed it" she says.

"Of course you did" I give her a smile, she smiles back "Do you know why you had to take over that much?" I ask because it must involve her parents.

Valentina shrugs "Never asked" she says simply "Me and my parents- yeah it doesn't work, but this is business, and Powers law firm will be mine so it doesn't hurt if I know some of our most influential clients" I hum, she is just so put together.

A waitress comes and takes our drink orders "What are you drinking darling?" Valentina asks me "I will have an orange juice please" I say.

"Water for me please" Valentina says, I furrow my eyebrows I thought she would drink a bottle of wine or some kind of alcohol, she usually does, although I haven't seen her drink in a while.

The waitress goes away, "No alcohol today?" I ask Valentina, she simply shrugs "Not for me" she says, I smile a little.

"Tell me more about you Danielle Wilson, I want to know so much more than what I already know" she says, I blush a little.

"Like what?" I ask, she shrugs "Your favorite color is pink, which shade?" she asks.

"What?" I ask back laughing a little "Well there are a lot of shade of pinks, do you prefer neon pink, pastel pink maybe baby pink?" I can't believe she is asking this "Pastel" I simply answer.

She hums, the waitress comes back "Can I take your orders?" she asks politely, me and Valentina tell her our order, we both ordered some kind of pasta just with different topping.

"It's time" Valentina says, I look at her confused "Time?" I ask her.

"Look out the window" I do as she says, you can see the sun starting to go down, the sky already contorted in the bright colors, the water reflects the sun, it also gives a whole different light to Boston, I've never seen anything as beautiful as this before.

"So I kind of didn't only bring you here because this is the best place in Boston, okay it is but another fact is that this is the place where you can see the most beautiful sunsets, you told me you love them, so I thought I could bring you here to show you" she says, I swear I can feel tears in my eyes.

"You-you did this for me?" I say wiping away a tear "Of course I did, you spoke so beautifully about sunsets it would've been a crime not bringing you here" she smiles genuinely.
