Part 6

*Danielle's POV*

The week went by fast, I'm currently sitting in my last detention, Miss Powers as usual supervising it.

She looks gorgeous as ever, today she decided to wear a black turtleneck with her usual black jeans and boots, her gold necklace on display. This woman is just so elegant and powerful in the same sense, she carries herself as she knows everybody either wants to be her or be with her. It's so fucking attractive, okay I should calm down, I've been having these kind of thoughts ever since that talk we shared on Monday, she cared, I know she would never admit it, but she chose to tell me about a part of herself (even if it was just a question) just to find out if I'm okay.

Of course I'm not, although it's been almost a week since my dad last hit me, the bruises are still there, but they started to fade, I could never tell her that, not because I'm ashamed because I'm not, I know that I deserve to be hit, but because only Ben knows about all this, and Miss Powers doesn't care, at least I kept saying that but Monday changed everything.

"You are staring" she says, while her stare stays on her laptop, I look away quickly "Do you need something?" She still doesn't look up, "No I'm sorry"

"Don't apologize, you don't need to say sorry for everything, darling" fuck that nickname again, I think I might melt everytime she says it, I prepare to answer but her phone rings.

She looks down at her phone, annoyed she picks up "What do you want?" I look away quickly, I start fidgeting with my fingers, "Oh no, you don't get to say that to me Lily, I told you to never call me again, not after what you fucking done" she hangs up the phone quickly, her gaze fells to mine

"What are you looking at? Detention is over, go" her cold voice back again, I hate it when she uses it, I stand up and gather my items, and I leave the classroom without saying goodbye.

Today is Friday, so it means Ben and I are having a sleepover, usually I spend Friday and Saturday nights with him, his parents and him are like my second family, I just finished my shift, so I'm headed over there now.

Ben is already waiting for me by the door, he runs towards me and pulls me into a hug, I love physical touch I really do, but I don't think anyone loves it more than Ben, he leads me into his house and I'm met with Martha

"Hello gorgeous" she wraps her arms around me, she looks similar to Ben, tall, brunette with a thin frame "You know if you need anything you  tell me, or you really can just help yourself"

"I know thank you Martha" Ben takes my hand and leads me up to his room, it's like a basic teenager room, posters all over the place and a big bed in the middle.

"So, how are we feeling now that detention is over?" he asks, I know he's been dying to know if anything had happened between me and Miss Powers "Yeah, well I'm just glad I can get back to my normal life" he gives me a look I know means "tell me everything that happened" even though nothing really happened except a few small conversations.

"Okay, but how about Miss Powers? Is she different when not in class?" he asks, "Well she definitely is something" I look down, and I can feel heat creping up on my face "Shut up, tell me everything, you are blushing Dani"

"Nothing happened, of course it didn't, I never been with anyone, and let me tell you I won't start with my teacher, not that she would want anything, as far as I know she is straight as an arrow" Unfortunatly but I decided not to add that, "Dani you know that you can't know that for sure "

"Yeah well I don't have to know anything, she is my teacher I am her student thats it, and you know that the only thing I care about is getting into Harvard with a scholarship" Ben gives me a knowing look " Dani you already have that scholarship, you will get in, you just need to enjoy life a little"

I roll my eyes, "Ben I can enjoy life after getting my law degree until then I don't really care about enjoying anything"

"Yeah that's the problem honey, but you know that I always support you in everything, and I won't force anything on you, now let's go to sleep"

"Thank you Benny, I love you" he gives me a tight hug, let's go and says "I love you too, honey, good night"

We spent Saturday, by going to the shopping mall, Ben loves shopping and well I don't mind every once in a while either, we ate some food, and then he wanted to go by a new cologne for himself so we did that too, also it's the beggining of autumn and he wanted to buy himself some new stuff so we got all of that too, I bought a new hair bow this one is pink.

It's currently now 7, and Ben has been trying to get me to go to a club with him, don't get me wrong I've been to a club before, but I'm not too keen on them, especially since Ben usually starts hitting on guys after 5 minutes we got into the club.

"No Ben, if you want to go then of course you can I will just go home" I know he won't accept this, "Come on, Dani, we have to get you laid and drunk, since Miss Powers is our new teacher I can even feel how much more sexually fustrated you are, you have to fuck it out of your system"

"Ben I won't do such a thing" he shrugs "Okay okay, please just come with me, I really want to let go myself and I want my best friend with me" he gives me his puppy eyes

He knows I can never resist those eyes, "Fine, but just this once" he jumps up "Thank you, Dani, let's go I have the perfect outfit for you while I pick it up you can do your make up"

After a while we are both ready and ready to head out.
