Part 57

*Danielle's POV*

"It was perfect" Ben says "After that we went home and I guess you can find out what happened but if you want me to go into details" he start I cut him off.

"Thank you Ben, I don't need the details" I chuckle.

Ben's been talking about another date with Ethan for hours, I don't mind of course, I love hearing about him and Ethan, he really makes him happy.

"So you went to this downtown restaurant, what about the food, was it any good?" I ask him.

"Yeah the food was great too, but of course not as great as Ethan, and those blue eyes" he sighs.

"How can someones eyes be that blue? I mean you have an even brighter blue eyes but his is just- I mean I hope I didn't offend you with this" he says, I'm just laughing.

Ben is so cute when he is in love, also I don't really care about him finding Ethan's blue eyes better, Valentina tells me everyday how beautiful my eyes are.

Valentina who I made up with a week ago, she really did mean that deserve me speech she gave me.

She's been texting me everyday, telling me how much she misses me, how beautiful I look, how she loves my outfit.

We've been talking on the phone every night, we don't have a lot of time to meet up, because for me school is nearing the end, for her well let's just say I'm still seeing a CEO.

Ben keeps talking about Ethan but I zoom out, thinking about Valentina as usual, her smile, her eyes, how she is just the cutest with me.

My phone buzzes at this moment I look down it's Valentina, I expected a text about how beautiful I was today or how she misses me, I would've been fine with either.

Valentina: I want to see you, can I take you out tonight?

I smile, it's Friday and we just finished with school, she wants to take me out again, our first date was amazing, if this will be even close remotely I will have the time of my life, unfortunately I have to work.

Me: I would love to but I have to work

I reply, Ben stops talking realizing I'm messaging Valentina.

"Oh, trouble in paradise?" he asks sarcastically, I bump his shoulder.

"No, quite the contrary really, I just have to work tonight" I say as I know Ben already read our messages.

"Wait you are turning down Valentina Powers? The Valentina Powers who took you to Boston on a helicopter for your first date?" he chuckles.

I roll my eyes "Don't tell me about it, I already feel bad, also I don't need her taking me anywhere, I just want to be with her" I shrug.

"Aren't you just the cutest?" he asks me cupping my face, I push his hands away.

"Okay someone is grumpy" he laughs

"Well you would be too if you had to turn down your amazing girlfriend on a date" I tell him, wait what did I just say?

"Girlfriend?" Ben asks surprised, I start shaking my head.

"N-no of course not, I have no idea why I just said that" I say embarresad.

"Maybe because you want her to be your girlfriend" he shrugs.

"Of course I do, I'm in love with her, but we are only going on our second date it's all too soon" I tell Ben.

"Dani you've been sneaking around since November, I wouldn't call 5 months of seeing each other too soon" he says.

"Yeah 5 months in which we didn't talk for 1, and where we only had sex in 4" I say, Ben starts laughing.

"I think if you want something you should communicate it with her" he says "You see how me and Ethan are" he tells me "I thought I lost him forever but he came around and we talked, and now this was like our 10th date" he shrugs.

"It's the same with you guys, Valentina came around, which I told you she would by the way, you are too cute for someone to give up on you" I hit him playfully "And then that speech she gave you? That's was basically I love you in 30 other languages" he says.

"No it wasn't" I blush, the things she said were really beautiful "Yeah it was" Ben chuckles.

"Although I guess she could tell you I love you in all the languages possible" he says "The woman really is a genius, I mean the lesson she taught today? How does she know all those heavy facts from just the top of her head? I will probably study it for hours and still won't know it" he says, yeah Valentina really is a genius.

"Do you ask her to help you sometimes? I mean she must be a great mentor" he says.

"Yeah I'm sure she would be great but no she doesn't help me, I would feel like I'm taking advantage of our situation" I say, it crossed my mind asking for her help before but I would never follow through, I'm not with her for her knowledge.

"Of course, I forgot you are a genius too" he says, I roll my eyes.

I look down on my phone and I see Valentina wrote back to me.

Valentina: So it's a yes, I know you get out at 7 today, I will wait for you

I smile, as I give my phone to Ben, of course she knows my schedule and my changed schedule, she probably just looked at it once and already memorized it.

"This is so cute Dani" he says "You really did hit the jackpot with the Valentina Powers who actually shows her emotions" he tells me.

"After this you can't tell me she isn't in love" he chuckles, I roll my eyes.

"She isn't" I say, I don't even know if I want that to be true, of course I don't.

I've been working for two hours when Valentina came in and sat down on one of the booths, she gave me a smile before she took out her laptop.

I still have two hours from my shift, how am I supposed to focus when she is all beautiful sitting there?

She keeps her drinks coming, only water, I don't have a problem with people drinking around me but I really appreciate her not drinking, at least when she is around me.

I only have 30 minute left from my shift when Marshall comes up to me "What's up with you and that woman?" he asks me pointing towards Valentina.

Who is looking at me, her laptop put away, if it was anyone else I would find it creepy but Valentina doesn't stare at me in a creepy way, more like an admiring way, in a way I feel beautiful under her gaze.

"What do you mean? Nothing is" I defend, I can feel myself getting redder by the moment, damn me for blushing so easily.

"Sure she's been staring at you for the past hour" he says "For what it's worth she is beautiful" he says.

"You have a wife right Marshall?" I ask him, jealousy talking from me.

He laughs "Yes I do, a wonderful one at that" he says "She is all yours" he tells me.

"Yes she is" I whisper but I'm sure Marshall heard because he starts laughing.

"Tell you what, you are done for today and you go spend some time with your girlfriend" he says.

"She is not my-" I stop myself "Thank you Marshall, I appreciate it" I go to the back of the bar, I change my clothes to a nice sundress, I knew I had to work but I still wanted to look beautiful for Valentina.

I go back out and I go to Valentina's booth, she looks at me her gaze trailing down my body, I feel myself blushing again, she stand ups and gives me a kiss.

"You are absolutely breathtaking" she tells me before she takes my hand and leads me out of the bar.

"Where are we going?" I ask excitedly, she smiles.

"You will find out soon enough, baby" she says as she opens the car door for me.

I can't wait to spend time together just the two of us.
