*Valentina's POV*

Pain. Torture. Hell.

These are the only things I feel ever since Danielle left, okay she didn't actually leave I could have her back at least that's what she said if I looked into myself.

Honestly the moment shit went down with Octavia I knew I would change and never hurt Danielle like this ever again.

I just can't go up to her, I meant what I said she deserves better, so much better, maybe I need to let her go now, before it's too late, I can't keep her, I can't be selfish, not with her.

I'm miserable but I can take it if it means she can find something better, something good like her.

My phone rings I pick it up "Yes?" I ask.

"Valentina, you didn't forget about your flight to Italy tomorrow right?" my father asks me, usually my mother would call but she isn't the happiest with me right now.

"Of course I didn't forget, this is our debut in Europe" I tell him.

"I know that, don't be an idiot" I roll my eyes "You know this is a huge deal, don't fuck it up" he says before hanging up.

I have no idea how I could even fuck up but my parents are forever mysteries.

I'm going away to Italy for a week, this is a huge breaking point for Powers firm, with going into Europe this firm becomes a global firm, they been planning this for years.

Once I take over one of my main concerns will be expanding the company too, it's great thinking honestly, you can win the most like this.

My parents are horrible parents but excellent business people, that's not something I will deny.

I throw my phone down on the table and I suck in a deep breath, why does everything have to be so difficult with them always?

I have to call Amber, I need to blow of some steam.

I pick up my phone and dial her number, she picks up.

"Sorry gorgeous, I'll be back in a minute" Amber says I'm guessing to someone else.

"Hey Val, everything okay?" she asks me.

"Yeah, could you come over?" I ask her, whenever my parents fuck me up I ask her to come over, I didn't lie when I said me and Amber use that fighting ring quite often.

"I'm kind of in the middle of something" she says, rather someone. "What do you need?" she asks me.

"I need to get in that fighting ring with you, I need to blow off some steam, now" I say, she chuckles on the other line.

"Okay so go fuck someone" she says, great thanks Amber.

"Will you come over or what?" I ask her, she stops laughing.

"Yeah I will come over" she says "I'll be there as soon as I can" she says hanging up.

One thing about Amber, she is loyal to a fault, I was really unfair to her after what happened with Lily, I mean if Lily did that what would stop Amber from doing the same?

I pushed everyone away at that time, even more than usually, Amber didn't give up though, she called everyday, she showed up, she was there.

Even now I could tell I was interrupting a little fling of hers and she still chose to come over, I'm truly lucky to have someone like Amber.

After 30 minutes I hear the door opening, Amber has a key to my house, I figured it would be easier, she comes over a lot, even if we are not doing anything she comes over sometimes so while I'm working on La Clara she is working on Bishop Group, also she uses me for my knowledge sometimes, if she needs something memorized she just makes me read it and I will say it back to her when she needs, I don't mind though, I help her but she helps me just as much, law school made me think about things differently, I'm not saying I'm a bad business woman because I'm not, but I'm saying Amber is better, her brain just sees everthing in a different way, in a good different way.
